Both airman are alive and well and as an added bonus the jet can probably be repaired. They should though ground all F16s of the era that this one was bought and check them all for faults make sure this doesn't happen to somebody else.
3. The best of the best !

This once again proves that we have the " best air force and pilots in the world." To have had to make a split second decision while taking what must have been multiple probabilities into account, they both survived and amazingly so did the plane. Kol Ha Kavod and may you both be back in the air soon as we are safe knowing that you are up there protecting the land And people we love !!!!

When ot comes to Lockheed they are very good at manufacruring promises not so good at keeping them The F35 was supposed to be a cheap G5 jet which would be sold worldwide. Now that cheap jet is over $100 million each with costs still rising and the carrier versions twice that. Technology problems still surfacing and lots of people who were planning on buying it are either cutting back on numbers planned or just shopping elsewhere.
5. ejected before landing

F-16 almost was going out of the runway. F-16's pilot and navigator ejected just before landing because of a malfunction. F-16-parts or -engines were stolen on an air base. These incidents occurred shortly one after the other. Is it a coincidence or what happens there? Isn't it the time to control the F-16-fleet. I hope also that the civilian and military personnel are from time to time screened again and not only when they were recruited by the army. I believe in one coincidence, but three? Also, I have to admit that in Europe F-16s - by the way a good plane - had in the past electronic and computer failures. But, after the reports in the newspapers about the stolen engines or engine parts I ask to the IAF-top to make a good investigation about these incidents for the sake of Israel's safety.
