Israelis are some of the worlds worst drivers and Israel and hundreds of people get killed every year so the fact this is the lowest in years is nothing to be boasting about. Car drivers are bad but worst are the scooters When the lights are red they just hop onto the pedestrian area and drive on, I have seen it done in front of the noses of the police and they totally ignore it as if its legal. One time I was walking down the street and a man on scooter drives up from behind me clips my leg with his bike causing me to fall over. When he realised I had fallen he stopped looked behind at me and then turned around and drove straight across what was a very busy two way street. We need much stricter driving laws and the police to actually bother to make sure they are enforced because right now they are lazy and the only get involved when there is an accident.
