Watch: Palestinians hang on to IDF jeep in Jenin    Yoav Zitun
1. IDF
IDF does not shoot them for fear of another intifada yet this is already the beginning. I say shoot them because in the end they will have no choice. It is a no win no win.
caleb ,   israel   (01.03.13)
2. Rioting Arabs must be IMMEDIATELY thrown
out of Judea and Samaria !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (01.03.13)

Johannes ,   Norway   (01.03.13)
4. 2 ROFL Got the cart before the horse

5. #2
As a german what right do you have to express an opinion about Israel? Your nation is the accursed among nations but you will never admit it!
caleb ,   israel   (01.03.13)
6. The IDF restraint in dealing with
the level of violence to date is truly remarkable bearing in mind the dangers they are facing. However it will only encourage and embolden the Palestinians to increase the ferocity of their attacks with the intention of seeking world sympathy by evoking a harsh Israeli response. Israeli PR needs to match this with suitable film coverage of the rioters potentially lethal attacks with fire-bombs and rocks and at the same time use all necessary riot control methods to protect the IDF and restore calm.

Caleb, you are way out of line here. Chris who is yes ''a German'' is a very serious supporter of Israel & us Jews. He proves his loyalty in each & every one of his posts here. You cannot blame Chris for the German atrocities of the past. Just thought you'd like to know!
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
9. What do u want
Occupation will never survive, Today Israel is taking things up and wants fire to spread Settlers are attacking palestinian people, homes, lands, trees and movements on daily basis in West Bank Army is entering area A covered and on public !!!! Just to drag people to riots Is it our destiny to pay blood for Israeli politicians who seek the chair caring nothing about all including Israelis Palestinians are not leaving , time is in Palestinians favor , whatever happens Israel will in its best scienqrio be surrounded by Arabs who will never forgive unless Palestinians do that first It's better that Israel take that as early as possible and proceed with two states based on 1967 borders if Israel wants to stay as a country One state is invitable if Israel continues the same way as now
Joni ,   Palatine   (01.04.13)
10. To No. 5, Caleb

13. Do you think Palestinians should passively sit by
You call this a riot--I call it defending their rights against a foreign invasion of their lands by any means they have at their disposal. If the roles were reversed, would Jews sit idly by and watch Palestinian settlers swallow up their lands and watch the Palestinian army arrest their people for resisting foreign occupation? I highly doubt it.
James ,   Canada   (01.04.13)
14. @ James # 13
Excuse? Let it not be forgotten that all lands that are held by arabs and muslims were taking by force and conquered from their local inhabitants. All lands including Saudi Arabia. That's a lot of occupation init so?
Gilad ,   Johannesburg   (01.04.13)
15. #13
James, you're absolutely right. I really hope that the Palestinian would not have to take the reverse role. Let's break this cycle of violence and live together peacefully alongside each other.
Peace   (01.04.13)
16. #14
Have you done enough revision of the history subject last night?
Peace   (01.04.13)
17. Violence is the Palestinian way of life
This is why there is no peace.
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (01.04.13)
18. Sorry Gilad #14, but you...
...got it all wrong. A small trinklet of well-armed Arabic warriors performed the conquests. In the conquered areas the overwhelming majorities of indigenous people either assisted or were passive. The "local inhabitants" in Samaria are still there. They are the Arabic speaking Samarians now resisting Judean incursion. These "local Arabs" are ethnically Samarians (that is Hebrews, but non-rabbinical Jews) with a a present fate. The HEBREW Moslem Samarians (in Samaria - not "WB"), will continue to resist all kinds of Judean attempts to control them. Your only way is either to leave them alone or to exterminate them. They will not give up. Repeat: the Moslem Samarian Hebrews will not give up. Got the message ?
Alex   (01.04.13)
19. Number 18
Neither will we. Or our God for that matter. History proves that. Got the message?

21. # 12
Yeah, it's so nice to have good friends, is'nt it?
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
22. (Brave) IDF ran with it's tail between it's legs.
Avis   (01.04.13)
23. #13 - the roles were reversed, remember?
And instead of targeting criminals, Arabs targeted all civilian Jews. Remember the massacres in 1920, 1929, 1936-7, ethnic cleansing of 1949? And when offered land for a State, even a compromised version from the original 1922 agreement, Jews took it and began working on a State. "Palestinians" received practically 100% of their demands and still rejected it, in lieu of terrorism. The Arabs can resist all they want but until they end their support for terrorism and destruction of a real sovereign State - Israel - the Jewish State is both morally and legally obligated to be present in areas to subdue terrorism and maintain security, since the PA is unwilling to do so.
William ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
24. #16 - prove him wrong if you can
Instead of calling him a revisionist, show him where he's wrong in stating that Arabs invaded the lands and continue to occupy them to this day? It's documented quite well in history books across the globe and celebrated as an Islamic success and part of the Islamic Golden Age by most Muslims.
William ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
25. #4 - my family is from Hebron and Jerusalem
the illegal economic migrants calling themselves "Palestinians" succeeded in ethnically cleansing my family and many Jews from our homes in 1929 and 1949. They won't get that chance again.
William ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
26. #9 - apparently they're not interested in their own State
when they were offered the land you claim to be "occupied", they rejected it - several times. when they had the fastest growing economy, freedom of movement, and no roadblocks, checkpoints, or security wall as in 1999, they started an intifada. when they claim to support a peaceful coexistence with Israel they had a poll of a majority of "Palestinians" supporting violent attacks and terrorism against CIVILIANS - not the IDF. when they're given aid and cooperation to build an economy and found new cities, they buy weapons and target kids in school buses. They claim "occupation" from 1967 is the reason for their violence, but such violence has been their policy since 1918. They claim a desire for peace in signing the Oslo Accords, which specifically allows for limited settlement expansion and guaranteed inclusion of larger blocs into Israel, yet Arafat admitted in Arabic that it was all a farce to pacify Israel and replace it once and for all. Perhaps you need to brush up on your history before you mimic BDS talking points which ignore the PA's own security commitments.
William ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
27. #18 - only a small portion of Arabs there are Samarians
and that tiny community is centered in Schehem outside Nablus, and Lod inside Israel. The rest are Arabs that have come through immigration after the occupation through invasion in 7th century, then again in a massive influx in 1930s for economic reasons, and again specifically to Judea/Samaria after the illegal annexation by Jordan in 1949. Many hail from lands as far as Bosnia, Iraq, and Tunisia. By the way - there is no such thing as "Muslim Samarian Hebrews" anymore than there are "Muslim Mesopotamian Christians"
William ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
28. #22 - if that revision makes you feel better at night
so be it. Such bravado is the only thread "Palestinians" can hold on to and claim a success. Hamas does the same thing and lost their asses in the 8-day fight. The IDF went in to complete a mission, did so, and left. No soldiers were heavily injured or kidnapped, and no property was damaged in the process. The IDF is extremely well-adept to urban setting operations, and the entry, arrest, and pull-out from the center of a major Arab city which is a terror hub, is an incredible humiliation to "Palestinians". The same humiliation you claim was a success to "Palestinians". So be it.
William ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
29. #22 Avis - Your preference would be
that we killed them, as your brothers are doing to your fellow Ayrabs in Syria & Egypt, while you hide in safety ?
