If he was a working for the Mossad or... the Yemeni mukhabarat took him because of his Jewish or/and Israeli background: I don't know.
But if the Israeli service used a citizen, with Yemeni background: it's good.
I only hope that the man, a son or grandson of Yemeni parents or grandparents, used the Arabic dialect, spoken in that region.
Since a long time I was asking myself why olim, from different countries in the whole world, didn't teach their children the language, especially the dialect, the habits and the culture of the country or region from where they were coming.
In the first years the Mossad had almost everywhere a foot on the ground, especially in the Arabic-Islamic countries because they sent back olim to gather information.
I also understand that the olim wanted to be real Israeli, using Hebrew as their new and only language.
I know, in the Israeli schools, they learn the basic of the classical Arabic, but to mix yourself under them, you have to use their dialect and habits.
But, after these meditations I sincerely hope the man can be saved.
Shabath Shalom.
