Hamas bans Israeli media in Gaza
1. Well, I can understand Hamas!
They are frightened that the truth about them and their regime would come out, though we know it anyway!
Mira ,   Vienna   (01.07.13)
2. Hamas is a totalitarian terror group
of course they are worried that the free press will tell the world that they are a totalitarian terror group.
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (01.07.13)
3. If they are going to ban our water and electricity as well?
Igor ,   Israel, Tel-Aviv   (01.07.13)
4. What a shame
They'll never know how badly Shimon Peres wants to drink tea and have a little chitchat with them.
A ,   Belgium   (01.07.13)
5. #1: Actually the foreign media don't want to see the truth!
SKYNews, CNN International, the BBC and the others always see the "poor Gaza bashed by Israel" side and use every event in Gaza or the West Bank to paint a picture of Israeli Occupation brutality. A few days ago, the "poor Palestinians", who can't afford to buy food and live in squalor were holding a motor racing day with WOMEN drivers! Fancy cars, expensive gas instead of food for their kids and plenty money to train terrorists, buy weapons and instill hatred of Jews in the decaying minds of their children! Stifling of the opposition, murder and brutality is the Hamas way but the nations of the world and the Arab controlled media close their eyes to this and bash Israel for Human Rights violations!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (01.07.13)
6. surely they're not going to ban haaretz
mebosa ritchie ,   glasgow scotland   (01.07.13)
7. "media portraying 'Palestinians' negatively"
Yep. Tough to find any media outside of Arab States that speak positively about terrorists.
William ,   Israel   (01.08.13)
8. Hamas Free Press
How will Israeli media be able to rely on Palestinian or local media reports from Gaza in the future, as presumably they will all have to be positive reports to allow local media to continue operating. This ruling will not affect the BBC which has always managed to produce biased and unbalanced reports against Israel. #5 Fun days courtesy of International 'aid funds' lavished on Gaza not used for weapons purchases.
Get Real ,   UK   (01.07.13)
