Hagel wants peace through mutual respect and negotiation, a process which most liberal American Jews support. Chuck Hagel is being misrepresented by warmongers who believe that supporting Jews = supporting Israel = supporting a conservative Israeli governement = supporting war. It doesn't. Most Jews and Americans don't want war, and would support Chuck Hagel's attempt to achieve peace, without threats and ultimatiums.
