I am shocked! Really shocked that Abbas believed that the Arabs would send him money - he being an Arab himself and knowing how much they love money and how difficult it is for them to part with any, no matter how small the amount.
I hope the memory of their applause at the UN is still lingering in Abbas' mind.

To bad the PA authorities are responsible for this. Only 2 years ago they forbade pali's to work for Israeli's, with even fining and punishing them. Also the expulsion from Gaza left thousands of pali's without work.. their employers were forced out.
