If not for the Americans, you would be speaking German instead of English. You would be goose steping into your labor line each morning.

to crush Hitler. Americans played a secondary role, with all due respect of course.
5. #3 No he wouldn't.

He'd never have existed. The way he talks, he sounds as if he's a migrant from the middle east... and we All know how the Nazi regime loved them.
6. #2 The lack of information...
Traveler.   (01.09.13)
... on your behave is astounding. You say the Nazi's would never do such a thing? Do you have any idea as to WHY the United States bombed Hiroshima? I have been to The Museum in Hiroshima. I have spoken to a survivor of the bombing. I have read the complicated history of the conflict and the reasons behind the decisions to Atom Bomb Hiroshima. All this has taught me that what you spout out here is uneducated nonsense. But why waist my breath?... You seem to be just another Fanatic, spawning in a sea of million like-minded fanatics, uneducated and hateful as yourself.
7. Everyone Needs To Visit Hiroshima
emanon ,   USA   (01.09.13)
I was lucky enough to be able to visit there recently. Yes, as an American I felt ashamed for what had happened, but I was even more amazed at the attitude of the residents, including some survivors, and their lack of lasting resentment towards Americans. After visiting Hiroshima, especially after touring the museum there, I feel anyone would understand why nuke weapons are so dangerous, why no nation really needs one and why Iran needs to be stopped before it has one. I also think people would not be so quick to wish one dropped . . . on anyone.

Russia didn't destroy Germany's industry. Russia would not have survived without help from the USA. Our help and the Russian weather is what allowed Russia to suceed. Hitler bit off more than he could chew.
13. What has been is what shall be. History repeats.
Rivkah   (01.09.13)
The good news is that there were 16 survivors with no ill effects from the bomb site of one of the Japanese cities that was nuked. The building they were in near the bomb site was not rubble or even affected. Over 200 scientists interviewed the 16 people to see why they were not affected by the heat and wind and radiation while others melted to the sidewalk. The only thing the 16 people had in common was a faith in what I call Yeshua the Messiah they called Jesus Christ.
14. I feel no shame...only pride!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (01.09.13)
Truman was right...this decision saved countless American lives. If we had to attack mainland Japan, the devestation, on both sides, would have been more costly. And besides, if Japan hadn't attacked (sneekingly so) us first, they wouldn't have been bombed, so I don't feel sorry for them; don't start a fight unless you're able to finish it. I'd have nuked Iraq and Afghanistan...not wasting one American life on those camel-riding savages. Also, Iran, Syria and Pakistan would suffer the same fate; after that, let Israel take care of the rest! Your bleeding-heart liberals' will always cry foul, because they're too cowardly to make the hard-choices that are neccessary to get the job done. Truman: Good call!!!
15. rare photo about Hiroshima A-bomb
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (01.09.13)
I'm a layman when it comes about nuclear weapons or nuclear mushroom clouds. But I know - maybe I'm wrong - in the atmosphere there are sometimes different wind currents. Downstairs the clouds are going to x-direction, the other ones to y-direction or vice versa. The photo was taken half an hour after the explosion, so the cloud - from my point of view - was divided in two parts because of two different wind currents in the higher air spheres or.... one part stayed almost on the same place, while the other ( the top of the mushroom) was pushed higher by an upward wind. But these explanations are only explanations about the visual effects in the atmosphere, not about the horror on the ground. Think about the ticking Iranian nuclear time bomb.
16. Why did it take 2 bombs for Japanese to surrender?
Steve   (01.09.13)
When the Japanese witnessed the devastation and the might of one atomic bomb, why did they wait for another atomic bomb to be dropped on another Japanese city to surrender?
17. Will Iran start a nuclear conflagration?
Steve   (01.09.13)
The prophet says, one day the earth will be destroyed "by fire," the inhabitants of the earth will be burned, and few men are left. (Isaiah chapter 24). Does this mean the Islamic states will multiply nuclear weapons and use them on America and the west one day, resulting in a terrible nuclear conflagration which will annihilate most of the people on the face of the earth?

david ,   NY, USA   (01.10.13)
If you take in to account the massive US causalities at Okinawa and Iwo Jima an invasion of Japan would have invovled over 1 million casualties. My father serving 4 yrs in the European theatre told me of the sence of doom his unit felt when transferred in1945 to train for the invasion of Japan

20. Split Mushroom Cloud
Dan S.   (01.10.13)
It is probably due to the way it was detonated. Remember this really wasn't a very powerful bomb as far as nuclear weapons go. It was also detonated about a kilometer above the city if I recall correctly, so the bottom part is more likely the result of the ground effects of the blast, while the top is more likely the result of the blast itself, shifted by wind
21. #13 Rivkah I have never heard of this before,
a ,   canada   (01.10.13)
and I doubt whether, if it was true, that the building was that close to the epicentre of the blast. What about all the other Christians who did die in the blast. Why did they die? And there were many others who survived, and were not Christian- why? Please don't try to suppose that you understand how God works.

The murder of these civilaans was one of the great crimes of history. People like Jake Stone are modern nazis and war criminals. They truly represent the heart of darkness and are viciously psychopathic. This business of the Hiroshaima/Nagasaki Bombs saving lives is sheer war propaganda.
23. Emperor Hirohito of Japan tried to surrender six months
Rivkah   (01.10.13)
before Hiroshima was nuked, but President Harry Truman refused to accept the surrender because he wanted to try out the nuclear bombs from the Manhattan Project that was finishing up on the two Roman Catholic enclave cities in Japan: Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was not necessary to nuke Japan to obtain a surrender. I am sure Harry Truman as a 33rd degree Freemason (who hate Roman Catholics) went to hell for his murders of the Japanese in those two cities when the Emperor tried to surrender six months earlier. There are three divisions of hell for the unsaved: the worst is for violent murderers when Harry Truman must be. The second worse place is for non-violent murderers. The third and least worse place in hell according to the Book of Enoch is for the unsaved who were not murderers.

My hope is that neither our or the following generations experience another photo op as shown above. The sad truth is there already exists enough WMD's to wipe out life on Earth as we know it. We need to learn how to get along with one another, not invent ways of destroying each other. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.

Imperial Japan collapsed overnight. Years of fighting, and millions of dead came to a halt. May we never be forced to bring those weapons into play again.

Many countries contributed to Germany’s defeat. No one country could have done it alone. Where do you think the Russians got the supplies (ammunition, trucks, materiel, food) to be able to make their offensive? If it weren’t for the US supplying the Russians, they may very well have lost. Also, they may not have been able to defeat Hitler if there would have been no western front at the same time. On the other hand, their attacks kept German troops on the eastern front while we (and the British and others) opened up the western front on D-Day. (Look up 'Normandy landings'.) And we may not have been able to beat Hitler if it weren’t for the Russians on the eastern front. Let’s not forget the southern front; through Italy. It was a joint effort. Give credit where credit is due; to both fronts. The last time I heard this topic of discussion was in grade school.

Hi Amir and Eaglebeak, actually the Red Army demolished the Wehrmacht while the Americans finished off the Japanese. Of course, Russia needed American help. Americans also contributed handsomely in other fronts

Emperor Hirohito wanted to surrender, but his generals wouldn't let him. He was no longer in control. You have an overactive imagination.
