I feel sorry for the 17 year old driver who hit the policeman. He/she is probably traumatised for life, will be getting treated like a terrorist by the police, and will be up in court for attempting to kill a member of the police by Sunday.

it will run away from traffic when that gets too close and then it will be fine intervening could have meant death and a pileup

but the freeway is no place to stop and rescue cats...sorry. People are more important than cats - again sorry. Also, Israel is the only country I know where people stop in the middle of traffic to talk to friends. Could you who do that, please stop it! May the brave volunteer recover fully.
