Back to law school for you, unless you can come up with a better answer re the supreme court of Israel.

By Israeli law - not international recognition - E1 is part of Ma'ale Adumim/East Jerusalem and therefore is indeed under Israeli jurisdiction. Perhaps you ought to think twice before calling other people names - it just returns back on you.

I invite you to point to anything in the law of the State of Israel that accords the Supreme Court of Israel the right to extend its jurisdiction to Judea and Samaria. You're the one that needs a refresher course or two.

Under your (incorrect) scenario, then, the Israeli military was well within its rights to evict the trespassers. Heads I win, tails you lose. Care to give it another go, or have you grown tired of me sending you packing with your tail humiliatingly between your legs? I've got more; lots more. Bring it on.
35. This is just a start...more to come and more

International/UN/ICC news to come also..It's all getting very interesting and more sophisticated, It's throwing Israel off it's game... Israeli's trying be civilized will wreck havoc with their already feral psyches. TATA

Oh, shut up. Sorry to have disappointed your bloodlusting feral psyche. No one -- least of all you -- is throwing Israel off its game. Disappointed, aren't you, that the international community is not exactly up in arms, eh? In fact, this incident has been largely ignored. Poor, poor, pitiful you. Go bang your head against a wall, why don't you? It might ease some of the frustration you feel.

I think the luxury tents should be handed over for use to the brave members of the IDF that man the Iron Dome batteries. The Syrians can fend for themselves.
38. Tents must be removed and soldiers must seal off area
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (01.14.13)
It's shameful that the iDF let Arab settlers into "E-1", part of our ancestral lands. The land in question is part of Israel and the IDF should have arrested those involved and removed the tents.
39. E1 Encampment Eviction
ltrail ,   United States   (01.14.13)
The Article said that, A group of 200 Palestinians, backed by foreign activists, created the encampment..." It is doubtful that the encampment was approved and legal. Based upon just that one point, it seems that the High Court must get in step with the Prime Minister. It's very good that the eviction was peaceful.
