This is plain dirty. For a public servant, entitled with such a responsibility as Defense Minister, there should be NO "information likely to harm his reputation". Letting him exercise personal vengeance against a flawless officer is a crime ! Plain and simple !

The Idf must restore some code of conduct. I have three sons in the army at the moment, all three in infantry units. I am disgusted and dismayed, and often as a mother terrified at the dirorganisation, lack of appropriate leadership and care of the our boys in combat service. Commanders are only interested in their own careers, the medical corps is inadequate to the point of dire negligence. If my sons would let me I would report every incident that i know of and believe me heads would roll. It is time for an intensive investigation. Why should we put our boys at risk!
