Well done Rabbi Tawil! You've been doing great work here in Brussels and are loved and appreciated by many! kol hakavod
2. Education is a good thing, but....
Mark ,   London, UK   (01.17.13)
economic success is a much better way of preventing any recurrence. The entire Euro currency project has been a disaster based on the mistaken aspiration to make Europe a world power to rival USA. The second duty is to avoid appeasement of bullies, and in this instance, to have no truck with islamo-fascism.
3. How bloody decent of them:a day off from Israel-bashing!

"Unfortunately, we are witnessing an alarming rise in popularity of hate groups across Europe as a consequence of the financial crisis." - Unfortunately you're wrong, it's your 'in your face' attitude and shoving off to a third generation throats events like this one by bullied politicians and milking the fact by holocaust industry. It happen 70 years ago, can't change it, let it go. By the way, someone pays for those ceremonies despite crisis, it's the taxpayer and gets pissed off seeing laid off teachers, crumbling schools, infrastructure next to new shiny holocaust museums with staff and security guards, monuments and imposed celebrations.
5. Honoring or Celebrating?
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (01.18.13)
Sorry to seem so cynical, but with all the rampant Anti-semitism demonstrated by the EU by it's treatment of Israel one would think that the EU thinks of the holocaust as a wonderful thing.

last month, mahmoud abbas celebrated the shahids in ramallah.....all paid by the "impoverished" palestinians tax payers. also, the nakba is celebrated yearly to the cost of a million dollars in the west bank, all citizens' tax money. they, according to you and your co horts, "are starving". explain that!

do you live in europe? no! i see you live here in the usa and us usa citizens love to honor the holocaust and shoah. if you are against it, why, you can always leave and move to saudi arabia where they have not even heard of this event...on purpose, that is, since their education is a made up historiography of events that are not rooted in any normal reality. meaning bull shit!
10. And what is great ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.18.13)

We're on the top of the world we're the masters... Weimar Republic, remember? What happen few years later I don't have to remind you,... So many times your stupid barking has changed to yelping to wheezing followed by silence thanks to your attitude and short memory, watching your leader's conduct and hasbara goons tactics on media outlets I can predict that next one is coming ,... Have good day ,...
13. stinky sprotje . When not telling lies , distortions
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.21.13)
you come with non comparable situations . A weak republic against a STRONG country . A bad economy with a sane one . the same as if you were compare a "split" with a sane well educated non hatefull person . Found a new insult : split .
14. 12 , forgot : pay for all those commemorations !

Frankly my friend I don't give a damn if someone kneel or relieves himself during those ceremonies or on the objects memorising those days as it happening in Berlin today, life goes on and you're not the only one who suffered. I have seen your ruined (due to neglect) cemeteries and have a picture how do you really care about your dead ones,...
16. 15 , sprotje
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.21.13)
in my country of birth , gravestones , graves , had to be removed after 10 years , to make place for new ones . Great respect ! Ruined cemeteries , by your friends and alikes ! It's not by having nice cemeteries that you respect your ancestors , it's in your heart . Something unknown to a liar as you are . Great that you have to pay for those commemorations !

"It's not by having nice cemeteries that you respect your ancestors" - No kiddin' then how come you beg or demand (depends where) from others (but never pay) to take care of them ? ,... You don't have to have a nice ones like the ones in Poland or Germany for instance but have them clean and taken care off.
18. 17 sprotje pipo
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.22.13)
those who have destroyed those cemeteries , those who have murdered , during or after WWII , can at least have some decency and do something . As there are no Jews left there , murdered or fled , who should maintain those cemeteries if not those who are guilty ? But the memory of those who were murdered , or died , are inside us , not in "nice" cemeteries . And , pipo , i pay people to maintain my family's tombs .
19. 18 - , i pay people to maintain my family's tombs ,...
split ,   US   (01.24.13)
Keep paying it's the right think to do it creates a job for someone and better image, also it looks much better than to show up at some Polish town or village mayor's office with a bottle of cheap vodka and try to trick/bribe him to take care of your cemetery - Since it's about paying why don't you organise other Jews create a fund (of course in Israel) and take care of the cemetery instead just of your family tombs ,...
20. Official Commemorations
Get Real ,   UK   (04.10.13)
About time and quite right that should be adopted by Europe being where this crime was perpetrated.
