Mr Haber, stop whining : You have the predictable result of a crumbling political system. The political system is flawed, biased, treacherous because it is based upon a skewed electoral system; the proportional vote; Extremists , fringe parties, anti-consensus parties, ethnical sub-groups are blackmailing the majority all year long.Don t you see that this system is the evil root of the crumbling political system ? When the country was united under one single zionist ethos, you could find both in the right and the left some leaders of the caliber you listed; those leaders had no difficulties in uniting their opposition because the nation's ethos was one. Since 1993 , the ethos is splited ( pro-oslo vs.anti-oslo ) and the government is much weaker , subject to internal blackmail , and in addition external pressure ( USA Europe). When you observe that there is not anymore strong leaders you only formulate the consequence of the evermore weakening government. So either the electoral system is reformed ( 5% mimimum threshold to enter the knesset - or a majority electoral system with 120 districts each worth the actual mimimum of 75,000 voters ).Simple nu ? So do it !
