Lapid´s banner has been universal draft. He was very clever by chosing such a banner since that´s an issue pleaded by virtually all Israel-from seculars to national religious camp,except haredim. If Lapid is an honest men,he MUST be in accordance to all religious camps otherwise he will be a Meretz man disguised in something else and we all know that Meretz´s likes are not in the heart of Israelis. lapid needs to be reminded that abbas has refused to negotiate for more than four years. lapid also needs to be reminded that hamas, namely the muslim brotherhood, thinks that jews are the descendents of apes and pigs.

The government of Israel cannot allow itself to be brought down by one small factions desires. Israelis want all Israelis to serve. Haredim cannot keep obstructing this and not be resented. Israelis also do not want to hand over our capital to our enemies, nor do Israelis trust forming a Palestinian terror state on our land, but they do want the demographic threat of Arabs lessened. We need to negotiate with our enemies, but ultimately we must discuss their unconditional surrender. Shas must see the writing on the wall which is that ALL Israelis must serve in the army. NIKUDAH!
