2. Inane actions on part of politicians make one despair. If PM
tom ,   tel aviv   (01.29.13)
cannot anticipate the outcry (rightly so) in light of continued employment of creeps like Eshel, then HOW THE HELL am I to trust him with security/budget etc.??!!! Had Bibi been my employee I'd fire him on the spot.
3. I agree.

4. Earth to Bibi,, where is your respect for Women?
Dina ,   USA   (01.29.13)
This is outrageous. With all the rape and killings of girls and women throughout the world, why are you ignoring this? You have an obligation to be a light unto the natlions...just plain disguesting!
5. This man should be
Sagi   (01.29.13)
ostracized by all and sundry. No person convicted of a crime, no matter what the degree of severity should be allowed to take public office.
6. Natan Eshel is guilty of nothing until a court decrees
Joel Benjamin ,   Jerusalem   (01.29.13)
I am not aware of any court that has found Mr. Eshel guilty of any crime. seems that the radical feminist lobby have no need for courts- you either do what they say or else. You are now guilty because they say you are guilty. Welcome to the newest version of Israeli democracy where the radical feminist lobby rules.

Read the last para again: "Eshel resigned his post as PM chief of staff on March, after admitting in a plea bargain to improper behavior toward an employee in the Prime Minister's Office. " He ADMITTED it! And that only to evade a conviction on a stronger charge - e g "in a plea bargain".
8.  The misogynist
Semantics ,   Israel   (01.29.13)
Eshel has not problem to hate women. According to official lexicon it is just "improper behaviour"
9. He thought he was going to
Raptor   (01.29.13)
negotiate with Shelly so he bought a 200mm zoom lens.
10. #6 - Eshel may or may not be guilty...
Woman ,   Tel Aviv   (01.29.13)
but UNTIL there is a trial he has no right to government office. If you think that women objecting to a suspected rapist is radical feminism, then your own attitude towards women needs some serious re-evaluation.

He admitted his guilt when he took a plea rather than go to trial. If he admitted to that, then the odds are he was really guilty of more and the State could prove. HE DIDN'T WANT A TRIAL.
