But it's telling that he gets so much support from Israel-bashers - Brzezinski, Carter, Chas Freeman, Mearsheimer, the "Arabist" crowd of ex-diplomats - and from leftist Jews (Friedman, Beinart, J Street).

after seeing a small part of his testimony on the internet, all i can say is that hagel is above all totally unqualified. his lack of intelligence and lack of competence are glaring and embarrassing. i suspect that obama picked him precisely for those qualities. obama cannot abide smart, competent people around him. he picks utter mediocrities who are yes men. obama will further ruin america and with it its allies with his pathological narcissism.

Or, one Hagel, is obamas nominee with a long anti semitic record, while McCain questions Hagel's record. The real issue is you and who you approve of. obama's getting bored with Israel, Egypt, Syria, Iran, the economy, jobs, all play a larger part in obama's grand scheme of things. and how he helped Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood take over a civil war and charge Mubarak, our ally with crimes...... obama is an amateur and bungler.

Congress should reject a clone of Obama that is bad for America, Israel and the Free World. There is no need for Hagel to use Taqiyya to win Congressional approval. Congress should be smarter than that. Congress should protect the national interests of America and its close ally and friend Israel. There are other far better candidates than Hagel. Under Obama and Hagel, America's military would be downsized to impotence which will embolden the rise of tyranny and Islamist-Jihadist terrorism around the world.

Dare you to criticize Israel and the first thing some fanatics do is to accuse others for being Jew haters ! At this rate the whole world becomes Jew hater, rightly or wrongly on account of a state that practices occupation and as Jimmy Carter said aparthaid.
