Saudi preacher who raped, murdered daughter freed     Ynet
1. Fayhan al-Ghamdi, a Wicked Man Indeed
Here is an Arab country, looking the other way, after one of their own committs a heinous crime to an innocent and precious little girl; a daughter. If a non-muslim did such a wicked act, they would be tortured tand then, be-headed. The world has no respect for Saudi Arabia who now, has become co-conspirator in the little girl's rape and murder.

7. Saudi preacher who raped, murdered daughter freed
This article if true, it is so dreadful that any sane individual would struggle to comprehend the evil mindset of such a so called father and is such an obscenity against humanity. It begs the question how can any democracy trade, deal or even converse with such a political/religious nation. The Saudis have time and time again have shown through the propagation of their version of Islam their complete lack of integrity, humanity and just downright backwardness. Our governments in the West are fond of saying real politik has to be accepted. I DO NOT THINK SO! We are tarred with the same brush if we do.

8. Where Is Justice?
This barbaric murderer should meet the same fate that he did to his own daughter. To his own daughter!! I have 3 precious girls. I cried when I read what this evil murderer did to his own kid. Outrageous and evil and murderer does not begin to decribe the true evil of Muslims who follow Shari'a law. Liberals stay silent towards evil Muslims. Fearing being called racists, libs stay silent towards evil committed by Muslims on women. All it takes for evil to prosper is for good people to stay silent. Lessons of the Holocaust never learned....

9. According to the report...
It was reported... Actually, the only media sources that reported this are only connected to the "lobby". This event has no corroboration from any independent source.

10. In all societies the powerfull get away
With heinous acts and the Saudis are no exception. Protection of the weak is a fallacy- never existed and never will.

13. and the human rights commission
and the security counsel says, "ok, ok we know this. but this is not important. we are too busy sanctioning israel as the "most horrible human rights state in the world". what a sad joke.

15. And just now read similar case of 5-yr old raped in Haredi
city in Israel. Everyone, family, neighbors, keeping quiet about it, as if it is perfectly normal.
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (02.04.13)
16. Only in Saudi-Arabia - and Modiin Illit
So in both Saudi-Arabia and in Haredi settlements can a 5-year old be raped, and the surrounding community finds it acceptable? That's despicable, in both cases. Only goes to show the dangers of religious fanatics.

17. Justice???
Justice is a relative word that with different meanings. It will be very hard to find any justice in religious totalitarian countries.

20. #15 - no it's not "similar" at all!
In the Israeli case, the police are doing everything they can to investigate and NO one but you has said it's "perfectly normal". Rape is not sanctioned in Israel as it apparently is in Saudi!

21. Sickening!
Questioning the virginity of a five year old? Unless there's more to the male's role than what we're being told. (I can't bring myself to use an parental words for this . . . I don't know what. Even animals have more parental nurturing.)

Galut ia ,   selah   (02.05.13)
23. How can you question the virginity of a 5 year old??
First, it is virtually impossible at that age to have mature sex organs unless one has been exposed to over-doses of estrogen found in plastics and pesticides, which actually did occur in some parts of the Caribbean. Second, a 5-year old barely has enough emotional or mental experience to make smart decisions, and certain not one involving sexual relations. My guess is - this cleric is a nasty POS pervert who fed his pedophile lust by his own daughter and used Islam (and Muhammed's own experiences) to justify it.

24. #7 - well, then there is China and its one child rule
which indirectly sanctioned the orphaning and killing of female infants. When I was in China I met quite a lot of females given away by their parents at an early age - entire generations of hurt and rejected children. And yet, the West too is willing to push this aside and continue business with China. As I said before - when approaching the ills of the world, the two main questions asked before passing judgement are: 1) Will it affect me financially? 2) Will it affect me personally? We're a long, long way from a Utopian world.
William ,   Israel   (02.05.13)
25. #24 William
Hi William, my point was not specifically aimed at Saudi and your comments re China are totally valid. However at my age I am very far from expecting Utopia but the complete hypocrisy that the so called western democracies bang on about is as you say primarily self interest. It does not detract from the fact that our respective nations are crawling to the doors of the blood stained coffers of this appalling country. It is very difficult to maintain the moral high ground in this world of ours but surely such evil and horror perpetrated and then sanctioned should at the very least give us pause and exhibit some sense of what is completely beyond the pale.
Lazerbenabba ,   London, England   (02.05.13)
26. That's a classic example of things RELIGIONS make men do!
Yes, rapes & murders are committed by seculars too, but not because of percieved piety! Religion is POISON!
