Israel applies for 2nd astronaut     Itamar Eichner
1. Please let it be Eli Yishai
Haim ,   TA   (02.05.13)
2. Maybe Ahmenayad will give us tremp??
Isaac ,   Raanaan   (02.05.13)
3. Haim @ # 1
We want our astronaut to come back this time. Yishai can be used for a trip to mars. His return trip is not critical.
Harry Hydrazine ,   Haifa, Israel   (02.05.13)
4. Totally Unfair and Unjust.
You mean to say that they can't find a little room for a small Iranian monkey!
Ahmad Cohen ,   Ibn Mousa HaLevy   (02.05.13)
5. #1 Nah, we'll send Zehava Gal-On where she belongs:
Outer space...
Alex   (02.05.13)
6. Don't partner with the United States.
Steve   (02.05.13)
7. Ilan Ramon wasn't an astronaut.
He was an Israeli pilot on a public relation stunt for the state of Israel. Including a Torah scroll and pictures made by children who died in the holocaust. It boggles the mind that Israelis do not see how ridiculous this was. There was a black astronaut on the flight, however he did not climb on board wearing shackles to remind us all of slavery. The captain of the flight had an Irish name, however he did not bring with him a sack of potatoes to remind us all about the potato famine in Ireland that had killed a third of the population. There is something extremely sleazy in the way we use the holocaust.
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (02.05.13)
8. Bad PR: why USA's largest aid recipient ...
if spending presumably scarce Israel monies is "invested" in expen$ive astronaut competency building. Always remember our USA is enduring fiscal crisis screaming 4several years now, hence this thumb may cross the catastrophe cusp/singularity/tipping point/straw of ending our looong-time past & promised American aid generousity ... not smart, eh?
Jersey Jew ,   New Jersey, USA   (02.05.13)
9. Where is the israeli
technological supremacy ? If it is possible make national space program, exclusively with israeli devices and personnel. If not possible better to do nothing.
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (02.05.13)
10. If
B"H If the State of Israel knew anything about Hashem, our G-d, King of the whole universe, it wouldn't apply to the nations for a post in their space-tent.
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (02.08.13)
11. Grewat idea so why TBs 1-10 all negative or jokes! Idiotic.?
Ilan Ramon did Israel proud despite the tragic outcome. It would be great for an Israeli to be aboard the Space Station plus you can see it overhead from many locations worldwide! B'hatzlacha Yisrael!
bob K ,   orlando usa   (02.08.13)
