31. Unacceptable
Phil ,   NYC, USA   (02.09.13)
What is "Friends of the IDF" doing about this?
32. i'm no genius but...........
ira berkowitz ,   oakland, calif.   (02.09.13)
.....how about fabricating an artificial elevated platform upon which to place the tent in which the crew sleeps. THAT should make the puddles and mud inside the tent go away. the tent looked rather cramped, inside, too. make it a little larger. you can place a heat source inside the tent, as well. best wishes.
33. Danger of Diarrhoea and Vomiting from such filth
Alan ,   SA   (02.09.13)
Imagine if illness breaks out during a period of War/Attack... think about the public health aspect of this terrible shmutz!
34. Iron Dome
Count Dracula ,   Los Angeles   (02.09.13)
I live in Los Angeles in an area where there are movie crews almost every day. These guys set up toilets, food facilities, dressing rooms (quarters) over night anywhere. Surely there must be several businesses in Israel that provide such a service. Looks like either gross incompetence or just plain dumb leadership.
35. Morale is Important
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (02.09.13)
We want the soldiers who are protecting us to have high morale, to be rested, safe and well fed. All of the suggestions talkbackers made are legitimate. Mobile trailers seem to be the most logical idea. These have all the amenities of home, and mobile cooking trailers to make the soldiers meals. I don't think the soldiers are "Kvetching", I think they have a legitimate request.
36. what break?
roy ,   T'A   (02.10.13)
those soldiers don't have a break and in comparison to paratroopers, golani, givati pikud haoref etc which are all considered combat units as well they don't even have a container on a truck with a suitable kitchen...i served in anti air and you don't get to see even a room with 4 walls for almost all of your service. you don't deploy into missions, everyday is your mission!
37. The complainants are lucky
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (02.10.13)
that they weren't living in the trenches in The First World War, they really would have had what to grumble about
