political islam is backward and ideologically committed to reject progress in all its forms. muslims who want to see a better life for their children, should reject the seventh century mentality of political islam.

In Tunisia they had a revolution got rid of the dictator and they make big plans for democracy and elect a new government. As soon as they decide they have a problem they are not looking for new elections they want a new revolution and take to the streets. In Egypt they get rid of Mubarak with relatively few casualties, they elect a new government and this government won with a large majority. As soon as they have problems with their elected government they take to the streets, people have been killed. The arab spring has turned into the arab hurricane because the arabs are just not ready for democracy and probably wont be for a generation because you can't just go from decades of dictatorship which is what everybody expected would happen.
