Lapid isn't all that interested in foreign policy -- he ran on a platform that seems devoted exclusively to social policy. Bennett is intensely interested in foreign policy, as is Netanyahu, and they are both situated to the right of the political spectrum. Sara Netanyahu needs to stay the hell out of politics. No one voted for her.

According to reports, Bibi was unable to pay some of his staff, so he paid them—Bennett and Ayelet Shaked—out of his own pocket without Sarah's knowledge. This apparently made Sarah very angry and she arranged a meeting involving Bennett and Bibi, where she strongly came out against Bennett and essentially made him quit as Netanyahu's Chief of Staff.
