I congratulate the refered Rabbis for their excellent words about Benedict XVI. It means a New Age of friendship and union among Judaism and Christian Catholicism, in order to a more ethical and fair world. After past darkness, we see a bright sun. Think about it, Jewish brothers and sisters.

He was a friend of Israel. His resignation may have surprised some, but work on his retirement flat has been going on for months, and he had a pacemaker operation not long ago, which may have influenced his decision. Like John XXIII and John Paul II, Benedict [Baruch as in Spinoza in Hebrew or Barrak as in Obama in Arabic]] built bridges to other faiths.
