1. Love Israel
(02.19.13)
Wish that all Jews would love Israel as much as these non-Jews do.
2. Experience
R ,   Israel   (02.19.13)
It seems that usually all we hear is criticism from people who have never been here and have little knowledge about the history and situation here. These Serbian bloggers have been here and have positive comments based on true experience. Thank you all, Serbian blogers, your comments are heart warming, and thanks and those who initiated the trip.
3. So wonderful to hear.
Lee ,   Leeds   (02.19.13)
So lovely to hear these young people discovered the amazing atmosphere of a young vibrant Israel. The Ministry of Tourism should take note here that getting young none Jews to Israel plays a big part in people discovering the real Israel. All young Serbians and other young people throughout the world please come and visit you are all most welcome.
4. Very nice blog & wonderful pics in FB!
Esteban ,   Argentina Swiss   (02.19.13)
5. Serbians are also wonderful
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (02.19.13)
they were one of the rare ones who fought the nazis to the very end. the serbs lost about a million men in this fight. they save jews who at the end of the war started a long march home from nazi slave labour camp set up in yugoslavia. the breakup of yugoslavia was a historic mistake. the horrific civil war could have been solved differently. in any case, it is good to know that these young serbs had such a good time in israel.
6. They cannot have met any talkbackers
Ferdinand ,   Israel & France   (02.19.13)
Lovely story! Good thing the bloggers didn't run into any of all these talkbackers who spend all their time attacking European, Americans, Reform Jews, Conservative Jews and Modern Orthodox Jews and tell all people to leave their halachic state,
7. Fetish serbians
gugugu ,   Kentucky   (02.19.13)
Love big guns and smile.Didn't get it?
8. Great to hear.
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (02.19.13)

9. Belgrade bloggers: Thank You for your kind remarks on Israel
Moshe ,   Usa   (02.19.13)
& for your visits there. Please return for more fun.
10. Serbs saved my grand-dad
Mike ,   chicago, USA   (02.19.13)
My grand-dad, Red Army officer, was wounded when his unit was surrounded near the town of Novi Bece in 1944. Serbian family gave him shelter for 2 days hiding him in the cellar from the Nazis till Red Army counter-attacked. If he would be discovered - Jewish officer in a Serbian home - entire family would be annihilated on the spot. I don't know the family but I, and my entire family, are eternally grateful to these extremely brave individuals.
11. #5 Nice fairy tale
Igor ,   Germany   (02.19.13)
The Serbs mostly did not fight the Nazis, but for their own lives (mostly against genocidal Croatian policies in Croatia and Bosnia). In Serbia proper and parts of Bosnia they actually cooperated with the Nazis. Not the Serbs, but whole Yugoslavia lost about a million men, and that figure includes also those who fought along the Nazis. It is true that the Jews fared slightly better in Serbia (and especially in Bosnia) than in Croatia proper, but that's mostly do to the fact that the Croats felt "liberated" (from Yugoslavia) by the Nazis and more readily cooperated with them than the Serbs, who felt occupied (as they actually were). And, finally, the breakup of Yugoslavia was a direct consequence of Serbian (Milosevic's) colonial politics and the attempt to expand the Serbian influence over non-Serbian states in Yugoslavia.
12. Parallel recent history.
Uzziel   (02.19.13)
Both peoples betrayed by the usual European nations (GER, UK, FRA), used like scraps of meat in their games of money and power. The Sebrs uprooted from their motherland (Kosovo) by the same death cult that want to steal the jewish motherland of Judea and Samaria.
13. Serbia
Zvi ,   Bat Yam   (02.19.13)
And Please do not forgett the ideological mantor of Mareshal Tito; Moshe Piyade who latter became the president of the parlemant after the war and one of the Avenues in Belgrade is named after him
14. #5 I agree
Linichka ,   Gdynia, Poland   (02.19.13)
I vacationed in Serbia last fall, and found a lovely, fascinating country with extraordinarily friendly people. Belgrade is a lively and vibrant city, Am unsurprised that these bloggers have the good taste to appreciate Israel.

19. #15 - oh my, you mean a Middle Eastern country
William ,   Israel   (02.19.13)
under constant threat militarily and diplomatically didn't behave as calm, warm Canadians who have little to worry about except an early frost? All your post tells me is that you should get out into the world more often...if you can handle it, that is.
20. <3 From Serbia
Alex ,   Belgrade, Serbia   (02.19.13)
I am really happy that the two Israeli Ministries gave these bloggers the opportunity to visit your lovely country. I personally am 1/2 jewish. I think we need more cultural exchanges like this one, and am really glad that your Ministries have chosen Serbia for this venture. Remember that you will always have Serbia as your friend, as you've had it till now. I remember my dad telling me that when he arrived some 30 years ago to Belgrade, that he was amazed how people were supportive of Israel and how much they praised and respected Jews. I have that unfortunate chance that both my ''homelands'' are in jeopardy (''Kosovo'', ''Palestine''), and feel that there is much space to improve relations between the two countries. Kisses from Belgrade ;)
21. #18 reading (in)comprehension
Igor ,   Germany   (02.20.13)
