1. USA Government
John ,   Sunbury USA   (02.20.13)
Our current government in the White House does not get the importance of Israel, but the vast number of Americans do. There are millions of us who pray for Israel daily.
2. Kerry's trip to Mideast
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (02.20.13)
It is gratifying to see that Secretary Kerry knows what side his bread is buttered on the therefore not lower himself by visiting the illegitimate Zionist entity.
3. Something wicked this way comes, '67 borders starting point
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.20.13)
4. graczek: the Jews are doing fine
jdc ,   New York, US   (02.20.13)
Israel is hardly illegitimate. The Jews have reclaimed ancestral lands, in line with prophecies. Not entirely yet, working on it. The Jews are richer, stronger and prouder now than at any time since King Solomon. You can make dire predictions and drown in your own bile.
5. Re: graczek --post#2
Tom W. ,   Windsor, Canada   (02.20.13)
Ok-it's enough! This person is serial anti-Semite Internet stalker! Please stop allowing people like that to voice their hatred, yes that's hatred not an opinion. I'm a Jew & I read online Israel newspapers for the same reason I read The Canadian Jewish News. These publication serve a purpose to the Jewish community & allowing the voices of blind hatred against us is absolutely repugnant! It's akin to an open study Torah group allowing different observations & opinions to be heard & to be discussed. But if you permit anti-Semites to voice their irrelevant hatred in this study group then this once productive human endeavor has now been wasted! So tell me, what benefits have you brought to this online publication by allowing the voices of absolute irrational hatred of Jews & Israel to be heard?
6. # 1 I hope you and the millions who pray for Israel
ben   (02.20.13)
pray for the will of God. If not I suggest at the end of every prayer you ask that your prayers be adjusted to the will of God. Jesus " not my will but thine be done"
7. @1, John from Sunbury
Efraim ,   Eilat   (02.20.13)
Thank you from us all. USA is great because of people like you. -- We pray for better times.
8. #1 - Israel is of no value to the US
spyguy ,   seattle, usa   (02.20.13)
The harsh reality Israelis do not want to face is right now Americans have only "feel good" thoughts about Israel, but if Israel causes Americans any pain what so ever, Americans will throw Israel overboard in a heart beat.
9. Yeah!
Aviela ,   Lower Migron, Israel   (02.20.13)
Obama is nearly on his way, anyway. Nothing good comes out of these visits, anyway. I'm very grateful to have one less diplomatic traffic nightmare. So this is a problematic thing? I'm thrilled to have one less "entitled" outside body sticking a nose where it doesn't belong and lousing up daily, Israeli life in the process.
10. Good news
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.20.13)
We don't need more foreign morons meddling in our affairs. Kerry - don't ever bother to come here. Your fellow racist morons in your own country need your help
11. #2
Maurice ,   Montreal   (02.20.13)
And what are you going to say when he visits Israel TOGETHER WITH THE PRESIDENT next spring? I can't wait! I hope you realize you are so full of bull!
12. Obama and Tour
ltrail ,   United States   (02.20.13)
There are millions of Americans who deplore the plans of the President of the United States; that he plans not to visit the only Democracy in the Middle East. He is so arrogant to mitigate the support that is the State of Israel.
13. benassi
jdc ,   New York, US   (02.20.13)
Kerry is not coming. We are doomed, doomed I tell you.
14. #2 is not only an rabid anti-Semite but also a liar
Brian ,   San Diego   (02.20.13)
If one actually reads the article you can see that Kerry is planning to visit Israel with the President. I guess everyone realizes that Israel is the most vital US ally in the region and the only stable democracy. An anti-Semite can take that and shove it up....
15. Interesting sequence.
Ironmonger   (02.20.13)
# 2 is the Arse and #3 is his son Ben of the Arse. Its all clear to me now.
16. Read my lips: NO NEW "PEACE" INITIATIVE !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.20.13)
Bingo...!
17. kerry
A V ,   london - UK   (02.20.13)
kerry must do like his master to please the arabs num.2 and 3.keep your nasty comments to your self .your anti jewish view remind me of germany of the 1930
18. Very glad to hear there will be no shift on Syria
Cameron ,   USA   (02.20.13)
Let us avoid that sand dune.
19. Obama did the same thing back then.
agokoy ,   cebu   (02.20.13)
they empower these countries by boosting their morale and then expect 'peace' at the expense of Israel. The worst specimen of humanity.
20. #4
Jarda ,   Czech Republic   (02.20.13)
In 40's, Germans reclaimed their ancestral land in Eastern Europe. What's the difference?
21. Let Herman Meunster stay away!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (02.20.13)
We do not need kerry(Cohen) to meddle in our affairs. Let him keep away from us. His job is filled by anti Semites and people that others say are intelligent, but prove different during their first term in office. They are usually more wrong than right and seem to hurt both the U.S. and her allies. I hope there will be huge demonstrations against obammmer and the people of Israel realize that this enemy is worse than the price of cottage cheese being raised. Let us get out and protest his visitand I do not give a damn if he cries at Yad VaShem. They are fake tears!
22. # 4 - since King Solomon ,...
split ,   US   (02.20.13)
Show us some proof that this grotesque chieftain ever existed except in your fairy tales ,...
23. What is of considerably more interest ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.20.13)
... is that Kerry is bypassing Jordan. Sooner or later, Kerry, if he wishes to preserve credibility, has to visit Israel. The same is not the case for Jordan. The United States may well be gearing up to ignore the tiny little half-British, half-Iraqi king of an invented kingdom ruling over a majority ersatz "Palestinian" country. Uh-oh. Hope he's been paying his taxes in Britain. Or Kuwait -- wifey's country. Both countries tend to be a bit strict about that. Complete and total smackdown by the United States. Abdallah is not a happy camper. His "reign" may be drawing to a close.
24. Spyguy # 8
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (02.20.13)
Israel has plenty of value to us and as to your comment on pain: Americans love pain, you need look no further than our last presidential election to see that. We just voted for 4 more years of pain.
25. # 20 the difference....
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (02.20.13)
Germany wanted all of Europe. Israel doesn't want all of the Middle East. Now do you get it?
26. #6
John ,   Sunbury USA   (02.20.13)
When you pray the Bible, you are praying the will of G-d . The Bible tells you to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It sounds like you have forgotten that G-d is the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as well as our G-d.
27. split: the Jews are still fine, learn to live with it
jdc ,   New York, US   (02.20.13)
"show us the proof": there is no "us", there is only a repugnant "you ", split. Tablets referring to the rule of Judean kings have been dug out. They are still examining and digging at the palace remains south of the old city. There are debates in whether some references are to King Solomon himself. The oldest extant biblical text is, I believe, a 2700 year-old fragment with priestly blessing, still recited today.
28. 25 Eagle Nose
(02.20.13)
You are silly. Israel wants to invade oil producing countries, is already stealing other's gas and water. You are believing your own propaganda.
29. Jarda
jdc ,   New York, US   (02.20.13)
All people can claim whatever land they deem ancestral. These claims are usually in conflict with someone else's. ALL modern states are resting on land their ancestors have conquered. While I am not familiar with the basis of German land claims in East Europe, the Nazis are condemned not for reclamation of that land but for the comprehensive slaughter they have unleashed, unprovoked. The goal was to kill not merely reclaim land. As you must know, takeover of Sudetenland and Austria were unchallenged by the West. Only attack on Poland with no pretense of ancestral rights has crossed the line. Comparison to Israel is popular in some circles, but still irrelevant. The Arab-Israeli conflict is one of the least bloody of MidEast conflicts. If the charge is that Israelis are engaged in genocide, they are terribly ineffective at it.
30. To: No. 20
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.20.13)
No, Germany started a war of aggression, claiming the need for "lebensraum." Of all the premises the Germans stated, not once did they use the excuse of "reclaiming ancestral lands." Of course, Germany lost that war, and lost about 25% of its territory in the process. Hey, just like the Arabs!
