The new Secretary of State gave his first speech at the University of Virginia. Did he focus on Iran, North Korea, Syria or Islamic threats? The challenge of a surging China? Nope. He talked about ... climate change!

Usually a rather dubious return for our efforts pursuing that approach, as time has shown. The opposition in Syria is already proving to be as unsavory & shaky as the Baathist regime.

This guy might have been abrising star. But meantime he's on the way down. Never rise yournf ingers too early!

In the State of the Union speach, Obama clears stated his goals; US immigration, the US economy, and 'we are with drawing from the Iraq & Afghanistan, your boys will not be sent to war in the Middle East'. Does that sound like a man planning to attack Syrian? (Nor Iran either...) The US is moving from the wars of this region, and re-deploying to East Asia where allies like Japan and South Korea will be more important that Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Marco Rubio made me laugh when discussing Syria. This guy's father was one of Castro's capitan fighting with him against the legimate Cuban government. He then immigrated to the United States searching for better life and more money but his son Marco said when he was ranning for office that his father fled Cuba because he was treated badly by Castro. I tell you that Rubio will never be elected a US President and that is for sure.
