Oxford's response has been silence...or not loud enough if there was any response. Your response is representative of your school's culture and core values. Also being reported is the "vote" by the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement to boycott Israeli companies and products. I urge you to fire Galloway and have enough spine to take measures that have zero tolerance towards movements that are historically and clearly rooted anti-Semitism. My son has been accepted as a Rhodes Scholar, at Balliol College. Think very carefully where you want to go with this. I will pull him in an instant, and I can guarantee you that I can pull at least fifteen like-minded parents. Probably more. I hope you can find sixteen ersatz "Palestinian" families willing to pay your exorbitant fees for Rhodes Scholars with children worthy of acceptance to Oxford. (No, folks, being a Rhodes Scholar is hardly free.) Never mind the academic qualifications. Did stone-throwing, tire-burning, stabbing and suicide bombing become majors at Oxford while I wasn't looking? If so -- well, you're trawling in the wrong sea. I would ask that all the students and supporters of BDS to please put their cell phones in the dust bin. This would be just for starters. Since the cell phone is an Israeli invention and some of the chips in every cell phone are Israeli made or licensed they need to be put in the dust bin. From this point we can move to every computer, laptop, etc. they too must go into the dust bin. Now we need to move on the Play Stations and most gaming devices since they also contain Israeli made or licensed stuff. Now for medical inventions and medications manufactured in Israel or by Israeli companies. Lets start with TEVA the worlds largest manufacturer of generic and patented meds, devices, and chemicals used for keeping those fine British students and the IDIOTS that teach in the prestigious schools healthy and alive. There are hundreds if not thousands of items that fall into the Israeli made and invented category. Maybe it is time for the Brits to get their heads out of their ass's and stop listening to academical insanity and start dealing with reality.
