1. What kind of parents incite their children to fight soldiers
Jouko ,   Finland   (02.26.13)
These parents are abusing their own dear helpless children. If I were a Palestinian, and I wanted to fight against Israelis, I would offer my life first - not my children's lives. Palestinian parents are just unbelivable- I would renounce that kind of parents myself.
2. Send these energetic young palestinians to Syria
Yossef   (02.26.13)
and let them throw stones to Assad's army.
3. Restraint!!?????
Dan ,   Florida - Tel Aviv   (02.26.13)
When left wing liberals are in power they ALWAYS counsel "restraint" when dealing with criminals. Criminals ALWAYS take this as a sign of weakness and crime ALWAYS goes up. This happened in New York City where a succession of left wing liberal Mayors urged restraint. Police officers were killed and no one was punished. Crime went out of control. Broadway nearly shut down as people were afraid to go to the City. Then came Mayor Giuliani who cracked down hard and crime virtually disappeared. Broadway, 42nd Street, Times Square etc blossomed and people returned in droves. Israel MUST follow Mayor Giuliani's example and abandon the advice from Obama. Obama might wish to take some of these Palestinians home to live with him.
4. Patrick is joking right?
We are in an uproar!   (02.26.13)
If you want to restore calm, tell Mr. Obama to stay home!!! He just talked about coming, and look at the commotion he's caused! Anyone would think that Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy were visiting the Bennets or planning a ball at Netherfield!
5. Not coincidence…
Colorado ,   USA   (02.26.13)
that this is happening ahead of Obama's visit. He will characterize Israel as unreasonable and an aggressor. The Moslem world is counting on Obama to "put The Jews in their place" by teaching them "what's good for them." He is 100% behind "Palestine" as depicted by the Moslems: ie a people brutally oppressed by Israel.
6. Deputy State Department Spokesman Patrick Ventrel...l
Keren ,   IL-BR   (02.26.13)
...has a so calming voice. He has the tone of a father teaching his little child... Sooo nice.... Now,I ask,do they keep somewhere in USA a fire focus like this cute one they so carefully keep in Israel with the help of some Israeli leaders? Yes,because if they don´t,I would suggest this kind spokeman to speak to his boss to put himself in Israeli people`s skin. He could also suggest his boss that this is an easy to be resolved matter:pay these arabs to go live in their birth place,in their home land-Arabia. His boss could also convince some Israeli leaders that this is a good deal for all. It is as simple as that.Do us this favor, please.
7. US understands
X   (02.26.13)
"We understand that the Israeli government is looking carefully into the circumstances of Mr. Jaradat's death. We expect all parties to consider the results of the autopsy calmly and without inflammatory rhetoric." Bullshitt.
8. Enough is enough
Anshel ,   Canada   (02.26.13)
Let's stop to be obsessed with the Palestinian Arabs, let's tell the world loud and clear, to worry about the 60 thousand dead and murdered in Syria, the loud nuclear threat that coming from North Korea, about the killings in Mali, killing the US ambassador in Benghazi, etc... Just say, leave us alone and if Abbas is not interested to negotiate peace, just stop funding him. How many IRA prisoner died in the British jails, how many Chilean and Argentinian prisoners died in their jails during the junta years, how many prisoner are dying in Russian jails? or in cells run by CIA? Anyone who plays chess, knows that the best defence is attack. Time to reverse the table. USA, you want restraint, stop UN and USA to fund PA until such time, they come to the table to negotiate peace without preconditions and constant unreasonable demands!
9. Step on Arabs going nutter, but use some discretion
Cameron ,   USA   (02.26.13)
Can't have matters too overtly ugly when The Golden One strides through the gates of Jerusalem.
10. Restraint? Unleash the dogs already!
Mike ,   Edmonton, AB   (02.26.13)
11. Is he kidding?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.26.13)
Okay. Okay. When the whack jobs in Pyongyang come crashing through the DMZ, Israel will urge the United States Department of State to exercise maximum restraint. Stupid interfering whatzits. Mind your own damned business.
12. Restraint AKA chill till I leave
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (02.26.13)
obama Akbar wants both Israel and the 'pals' to kneel at his feet, kiss his ring, and make 'nice' until he leaves and then, resume the same fight as before... Some genius. Not.
13. Why won't someone stop the settlers from inciting the Arabs?
Randolf Johnson   (02.26.13)
If the IDF would just take action against the settlers like they are supposd to then we could go back to having peace like we did before. They are living there illegally so by law they deserve to be beaten up. Any IDF soldier who gets an order to destroy Jewish houses should do so, even if the courts don't agree. And any IDF soldier who raises a hand against an Arab should be charged with war crimes.
14. Proud of the IDF
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (02.26.13)
Showing restraint is the best thing for the Israel to do for now and not because the US asks it to. The reason is that creating more martyrs is exactly what Abbas and his PLO want. This brings more air time on CNN and sympathy for the violent mobs of Arabs. What ever the IDF is doing is the right thing and I applaud their restraint.
15. #1 they need food
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (02.26.13)
Europe and US pour billions of dollars into the corrupt Abbas' pocket. The simple Arab citizen who isn't part of Abbas' clique, a strong family or isn't lucky enough to work with Jews faces starvation. Many families choose to send one child to attack the IDF, hoping he will get hurt or jailed. Then they get a generous pension from Abbas to feed their other children.

"Mind your own damn business"-Are you serious, are you not an American yourself?
17. Prison inmate never suddenly died in U.S. prisons ?
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (02.26.13)
Give me a break ! What, we need to treat terrorist prisoners with TLC? LOL Also, Palis are known to put their children in the fighting line - their kids get hurt - it's PR.
18. 6.
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.26.13)
you seem to be changing your opinions about making peace with the pallies in every second post you submit. make up your mind what you would like to see, take place. either you want to live in peace with your pallie neighbours or repatriate them to kibinimat! (do you know what you want??)
19. Make sure kids dont get hurt
JUDAH THE LION ,   JEWS FIGHT LIKE LION   (02.26.13)
First thing to say, they are not kids. They are grown up. If they are claim they are kids, then it is the duty of the parents to control their kids and force them to stay at home where they will not get hurt. The Arabs are throwing big stones, and molotov towards the IDF. Some soldiers got hurt. These stones and molotov can kill, so the name of the game is I kill before they kill me. Anyone who wants their children not to get hurt or get killed, must control their kids and NOT TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO GO OUT AND THROW STONES. DO NO BE ABU ALI, THEN COMPLAIN.
20. no 13
JUDAH THE LION ,   JEWS FIGHT LIKE LION   (02.26.13)
Jews are living in their own Country callled Israel. There is no place or address called Palestine. Palestine is myth. Even in the Islamic Quran they recognize Israel as Jewish State. Are you on drugs or what by saying they deserve to be beaten up, and if any IDF soldier who raises a hand against an Arab should be charged with war crime. IDF have full right to shoot if they are threaten. This is INTERNATIONAL LAW.
21. To: No. 16
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.26.13)
Yes, I am. I am also an Israeli. And I am very, very serious. Let's see how the Moslem in the White House and his shrinking violet toadie Hagel handle this threat. We all know that Obama has a special agenda when it comes to fellow Moslems. Let's see if his reluctance extends to Korea, too. Do you have a problem with that? If so, why? Aren't you an American yourself?
22. #21 Sarah
Kakarot ,   Earth/Mars   (02.26.13)
I must say,you have a very vivid imagination. PS that Obama comment really made me laugh.
