What, the boast and claim of responsibility by the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade (you have to love those fanciful names!) is insufficient? No matter. We know Abbas is behind the unrest in Judea and Samaria, and we know he probably gave the order to fire missiles into Israel. Stupid move on his part. He's only trying to deflect the attention of the ersatz "Palestinians" who live under his rule from the dire straits of the economy in the ersatz "Palestine" Authority -- rampant inflation, unemployment at 60%, shortage of goods in stores, even if people could afford them, and unpaid salaries to the grossly excessive "government" employees -- no wonder Abbas has his knickers all in a twist. I think Israel should hammer a few more nails into the coffin -- encourage the settlement industries to terminate all their ersatz "Palestinian" employees, revoke the work permits of the 10,000 or so ersatz "Palestinians" that work in Israel .... that should do the trick. If the ersatz "Palestinians" want to riot, let them riot against their true enemy -- their so-called "leadership." So, Abbas wanted "statehood" and bypassed a negotiated settlement with Israel in order to achieve his wish. Of course, all he really received was a great deal of lip service -- no cash; no foreign investment -- but -- hey -- he cannot say Israel did not warn him of the consequences. Abbas has gotten exactly what he wanted. He really needs to stop inciting violence -- and encouraging Fatah's military wing to fire missiles into Israel. As miserable as his existence is now, I assure you that Israel can make things much worse for him. Very much worse. Like cutting off free electricity to the ersatz "Palestine" Authority.
