1. Bibi has just realized it's Lapid and Bennet or elections!
David ,   Israel   (03.03.13)
This time the Likud will lose and they will be in opposition with Meretz, Labor, the Haredim and the Arabs!
2. #1 David
Fad Egypt   (03.03.13)
although i am against the idea to form a coaliton with Bennett and Lapid only, because that coalition will be dependent on a leftist party which can bring down the government anytime it wants, as Lapid said that within 18 months he can topple the government and be PM anyway, if elections held now and the left won according to the polls, Lapid wont be able to form any government just do the math, according to latest polls, Yesh Atid will win 31, Likud 26, Jewish Home 13, Shas 12, Labor 9, Kadima 2, Livni 3, Meretz 7, UTJ 7, arabs 12 if Lapid will form a government, he will bring Jewish Home 13, Livni 3, Labor 9, Kadima 2, means 31+13+9+3+2 = 58 short of the 61 seats needed to form the government !!!!!, Meretez wont stay with Jewish Home, that means political crisis, as no government can be formed !!!! shalom
3. I need help!
Shalom ,   U.S.A.   (03.03.13)
I don't know which is worse, calling new elections and a leftist victory or Netanyahu forming a coalition with Livni and Barak in the cabinet? One thing is sure, however, Netanyahu has massed it up when he struck a deal with Livni to please a hostile american president.
4. Not really...#2
Shai ,   Il   (03.03.13)
Likely you'd find three members of Likud who'd jump ship from Likud beiteinu to join Lapid, or even the entire Leiberman faction of Likud beiteinu, which would account for 1:3 of their 26 votes
5. #2 - I don't agree
Eric ,   Toronto   (03.03.13)
I think if Lapid wins the next elections, he will form a coalition with Likud as well. Likud will accept even if Shas is not icluded, because they want to be in the government.
6. Elections
Moshe   (03.03.13)
I think if there are another round of elections Bibi will still be in charge of forming the government, and I think Bennett will lose a lot of the right-winged voters that voted for him because they thought he would be helping Bibi in right winged matters and pushing them even further right. Lapid will gain votes but so will Likud in my opinion.
7. Labor in Opposition
Zechariah   (03.03.13)
If labor continues its ideological snobbery Habayit Hayehudi will join the coalition .The settlements ought be consolidated any way but no new settlements for two years watching Iran.Iran is the main enemy Hatnayu and Livni ought secure safety for those Arabs of Israel who have the capacity to live in peace with the Jews security and Equality .The Price Tag Fascists all hoodlum fascists incarcerated .
8. #6 Good Point…
Colorado ,   USA   (03.04.13)
When the Americampresidrnr pins all the problems in the ME on Bibi, you can bet a lot is going on behind the scenes. hH also has policy not in line with Obama's goals, but Lapid is in sinc. So… Who knows, but all would like to see Bebbett being te person he claimed to be and help Bibi in these insane times. Don't underestimate O. He is literally destroying the USA--changing the laws and the times… Bibi and all Israel must stand. Many American Jews believe everything O says and think Israel can retiun to the '67 borders ( at the very least) and all will be well. Some are just misled, but some seem to be lefty kapos.
9. Lapid Is Dividing Nation
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.04.13)
This is unfortunate. Yes, Shas's lack of compromise is not helpful, but Lapid holding Israel hostage and dividing it's population is detrimental to unity and ultimately weakens Israel and makes the government open to constant demands and extortion. This is Lapid's intention and the enemies of Israel approve.
