I do not agree that the situation of the jewish community in Venezuela deteriorated because of Operation Cast Lead. When you are partners with guys like Ahmadinejad, Khadafi and Assad you will find every way to demonize Israel. In Europe the same happens in those societies that do not want to jeopardize their relations with the moslem communities living among them. And in the rest of the world, were leftist governments wants to show opposition to the Us they will criticize Israel (among other things) in order to show their desagreament with Washington.
