I absolutely believe the 'Martyrs of Yarmouk' claim when they say they are merely 'protecting' 21 Filipino peacekeepers . The UN believes every other claim the Muslim jihadi terrorists say with regard to Israel so how could they be lying now?
2. Guests ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.07.13)
... are permitted to leave when they wish. Something tells me that the soldiers in question are not allowed to leave. That makes thim victims of kidnapping, and hostages.
3. The rebels are no better than Assad.
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (03.07.13)
This is but a small dose of who may be the next "Leadership of Syria." Are they any different? NO.
4. Protecting them indeed

until the rebels start lopping the "peacekeepers" heads off. What will the UN do? Unilaterally Nothing.

These rebels have expressed an enmity towards Israel. Whoever are the eventual new leaders of the next Syrian regime are unlikely to be friendly towards Israel nor to the US and EU despite the aid being given and promised. Israel must make it clear that any terrorism or attack from Syria will be met with a harsh response.Israel cannot allow yet another terrorist regime to grow and be based on its borders.
