Dovid ,   Haifa Israel   (03.11.13)

2. it's been nearly a day
oferdesade ,   israel   (03.11.13)
since the report was made public, and still no apology from the bbc... i wonder wot they're waiting for - they'r usually so punctual to release an apology....
3. Whats the score Dovid?
Ken ,   Burma at Peace   (03.11.13)
4. BBC will HIDE this from the public.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.11.13)
This does not fit in with their narrative so it must remain hidden.
5. Palestinian terrorists kill Palestinian babies
Serge ,   Montreal, Canada   (03.11.13)
Pathetic that Palestinians still give so much support to the very elements that are most noxious to peace.
6. Oh, the Palestinians did it
shmulke ,   w coast USA   (03.11.13)
I guess that makes it ok. Right, UN?70,000 dead in Syria. But Israel's the aggressor. The Untied Nations is an organization as useful as the proverbial mammaries on a bull.
7. UN is a den of inequity
C   (03.11.13)
the muslim controlled un is a den of inequity. they are always ready to blame jews for what is in fact muslim murders, including murders of muslim children by muslims. no one expects obama or his un secretary susan rice to condemn these murders.
8. You don't really expect to hear
Get Real ,   UK   (03.11.13)
from Hamas or the BBC when 70,000 are dead in Syria. It would be nice if the BBC were just available for comment. Immediate is a word that only applies to its negative and biased reporting on Israel.
9. BBC is not reporting this
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (03.11.13)
From my last check of the BBC internet site, there is no report of this UN report.
10. But But ...it doesn't fit the Palestinian narrative
Galut ia ,   Selah   (03.11.13)
most of the liberal press will probably ignore the story ... per usual
11. Amazing that the United Nothings would even publish
A ,   Belgium   (03.11.13)
such a report. Has someone hinted that the US might close the money faucet if they don't stop being so consistantly one-sided against Israel? It IS cutback time, though not for the "palestinians", Egypt or Jordan, of course.
12. Where was the UN w the Fogal baby?
David ,   Israel   (03.11.13)
13. PCC
Ken ,   US   (03.11.13)
Complain to the PCC, they can make a difference
14. The UN camp has broken up and they are leaving the Golam.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.11.13)
Guess where their personnel are going for refuge and safety...to ISRAEL! OMG! Isn't Israel that same entity that they project as so vile and atrocious? Israel should send them all back to the embrace of the Arab population that they love so much until such time that the Useless Nobodies APOLOGIZE to Israel for all their false accusations, false propaganda and hatred
15. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.11.13)
The ersatz "Palestinians" fire missiles from urban areas. That turns those urban areas into legitimate military targets. Even so, Israel always exerts considerable restraint. But to answer your question -- over the past seven decades, I assure you that the ersatz "Palestinians" have murdered and maimed far more innocent Jewish civilians than the casualties the ersatz "Palestinians" sustained as a result of Israel's proper actions to defend its citizens and its borders.
16. Or,to state the tragedy another way...
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (03.11.13)
...the terrorists hit their own human shield. I haven't heard it reported on the BBC yet and I've just heard the BBC news bulletin. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
17. what exactly are people asking the BBC to apologise for?
jj   (03.11.13)
They reported that it was suggested that an Israeli airstrike had hit the house and that this claim was supported by a human rights group and now they are reporting that the UN is disputing this. There's nothing to apologise for.
18. Practical Steps (others welcome to rephrase pls)
Jonathan   (03.11.13)
All, please spare 4-5 minutes, to write to the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complain-online/ Saying something polite, like: "To whom it may concern/BBC, We all do understand the difficulties and the challenges involved in getting news both accurately and in a timely manner. Keeping in mind that we are all human, and we all mistakes... I would highly appreciate it, if you could kindly publish a correction to the earlier statement made by the BBC last November, regarding the IDF and the rocket fire. The views and the information provided by the BBC is dear to me, and I trust the BBC that when things go wrong, the BBC is making the effort to correct them as soon as possible. Regards, ...."
19. a tragic death of a little baby
tiki ,   belgium   (03.11.13)
The innocent victim of his manipulating father & his fanatic friends! Wasn't this the winning World Press Photo of the year? With all the facts known I just wonder if he would have won the prize now?????
20. Bbc website
Dan London ,   London   (03.11.13)
I am no lover of the bbc, but to their credit it is at least on the front page of their news web site. How long it stays there, we won't know. But at least it is there for the moment..
21. #20 is right, but...
(03.11.13)
...despite it being on the front page, it only served an opportunity to (once again) attack Israel. After reading the article, I couldn't help but feel the writer's attempts to cover the news agency's tracks. Leave it to the BBC to spin the story to fit their anti-Israel bias.
22. #4 wrong, it's on the first page of their website
(03.11.13)
23. #3 - I suspect the civilian count in Gaza...
William ,   Israel   (03.12.13)
killed by Gazan terrorist actions is much higher than admitted to.
24. #22 - might not have been on BBC when #4 commented
William ,   Israel   (03.12.13)
Do keep linear time in perspective.
25. #17 jj yes there is
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (03.12.13)
The BBC published this and many other lies as facts without a shred of proof. They ALWAYS accept whatever lie comes out the Arabs mouths without question. Yes they most certainly owe us a huge apology
26. "BBC" reporter is actually an arab reporter
bernard ross   (03.12.13)
most of the news agancies use local arab reporters which is why nothing they reprt has credibility. same with current syrian situation. the Jenin reporters had tens of thousands massacred by israel, ended up at 53. Boys crying wolf.
27. #22. They woulda if they coulda! But it is all over the net
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.12.13)
So they had to compose a story to still cast shadows on Israel. That took them some time so they are pretty much about the last to feature it, of course, with THEIR spin. Anyone can find the back articles on this by the BBC, the Sun and the whole lot of biased, leftist British newspapers that are always happy to condemn Israel on the basis of any rubbish the Fakestinians feed them. And they are eternally SHAMELESS with their biased and errant accusations. No matter how many times they are proven wrong, they are back at it the next day, like a serious addiction.
28. BBC's belated report, but this is what they HID!!!
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.12.13)
The Report also states: "Palestinian armed groups continuously violated international humanitarian law, by launching indiscriminate attacks on Israel and by attacking civilians, thereby disregarding the principle of distinction. The armed groups failed to take all feasible precautions in attacks, in particular by launching rockets from populated areas, which put the population at grave risk. Furthermore, several Palestinians were killed by rockets launched by the armed groups that fell short and landed in the Gaza Strip."
29. This is no surprise!! UNHCR must condemn this. Sure, HAHA!
Brett Levitas ,   JHB RSA   (03.12.13)
Wouldnt be the first time Isr is blamed for something that was caused by the pali terrorists. Of course the world will never hear too much about this, until the next time islamic jihad etc kill another one of theirs, then ISR will again be blamed for something it never did!!
30. #21 is spot on
Bobby ,   SF, California   (03.12.13)
BBC has no journalistic ethics nor any sense of self-criticism. They spun the story with anti-Israel comments every other sentence. It's just sick to see a group claiming to be objective so obviously contribute directly to blood libel.
