1. cowards
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (03.12.13)
It is illegal for the "women of the wall" to bug other worshippers. To solve their alleged "human rights" problems, they were given a respectable alternative place to pray but refuse to use it: it's about interfering with other people. The Knesset members who support this illegal behavior are populist cowards. Why don't they fight for Jews to pray on the Temple Mount, something that is legal but prevented by violent Muslims? Is it because Jew-baiting is popular and safe?
2. Well done sisters , freedom from other peoples religion

3. Reform judaism is not Judaism ...
E. ,   Jerusalem   (03.12.13)
...it's a cult that worship the golden calf of liberalism!
4. Cowards? -your coward is my freedom fighter etc, ad nauseam
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (03.12.13)
Gosh, last I checked with my Jewish religious authorities it was FORBIDDEN for Jews to pray on Har Habayit! Unless, of course, you go by some other rav who doesn't care about the majority opinion of JEWISH RABBINIAL AUTHORITIES that prevents you from doing what you personally wish. So I guess you are actually endorsing the women of the wall then! Because if you yourself go against the rabbinic authorities, so do they. So then in that case, you have no argument and there is no problem! QED Ipso Facto Shalom al Yisrael!
5. Why separate treatment?
Jew1 ,   Ashdod   (03.12.13)
Bt law female mks and ordinary woman are the same. Why sepcial treatment given by POLICE (!!!!) to them? There should treat all equal and same. What is happening to our law and order system?
6. Reform judaism is not Judaism ...

7. Do they do tzitzit, tefillin as well?
Mark ,   London, UK   (03.12.13)
8. A government of idiots
JJ Gross ,   Jerusalem Israel   (03.12.13)
Instead of banning these women, the authorities should ban the media. Anat Hoffman doesn't function unless there is a battery of camera trained on her gorgeous face. Keep the media away and the Women of the Wall will melt into history.
9. Women of the wall
Louie ,   Brooklyn,USA   (03.12.13)
Secular MK's have to follow the law the same way as chareidy MK's. if not they should be arrested and be bashed by the press the same way.
10. the left think they have a right to break laws they dont lik
zionist forever   (03.12.13)
The left see themselves as being above the law because their causes are noble & good so they are allowed to break the law (which they are doing ) to force change. Right wing radicals like Moshe Felgin provoke & push the law to its limits without breaking it. The courts said that the reform should be given a place to pray so Robinsons Arch was aside for them but WOW is a feminist movement and for them its about feminist politics not prayer. They go to the plaza & break the law to get arrested make the newspaper headlines so it look like they are ordinary women but oppressive rabbinate wants to stop them praying. WOW are trying to make it look like everybody except haredi wants change because If its haredi trouble making they get more support than they otherwise would. Fact is WOW are just radicals who think they and their cause is all that matters and if they demand change there must be change even if there are thousands of non haredi men and women who don't want it.
11. Our forefathers would disapprove haredi judaism.

zionist forever   (03.12.13)
Jew1 Even though its theoretically legal the police remove the far right Moshe Felgin from Temple Mount to avoid angering arabs. Far left female MKS actually break the law so they can show express their support for a political movement and the police turn a blind eye. Mark Yes they do tzitzit and teffillin as well and even try to read from Torah scrolls although non of it is for prayer purposes its all to get themselves noticed, arrested and make the newspaper headlines.
13. #11, our four mothers would disapprove of these attn seekers

14. #4, Brian did it ever occur to you..
Jake ,   USA   (03.12.13)
...that those rabbis are cowards themselves, conditioned by 2000 years of exile and oppression? Or are all rabbis perfect in your eyes?
15. separate prayer from politics
Chani from Modiin ,   Nof Ayalon Israel   (03.12.13)
These MKs claim to be secular so they came for cynical reasons - not holy ones. The Women of the Wall also care more about politics than prayer. If they cared about prayer then they would pray - really pray - at the Robison's Arch. If they want to protest something then they should do it in front of the Chief Rabbi's house. Or the Prime Minister;s House. Or the Knesset. Or in Rabin Square. The holiest of the holies, our precious kotel, is for prayer - not politics!!!!!!!
16. Woman of the Wall
ARI ,   NY NY   (03.12.13)
The Kotel is the last remnant of the Holy Temple where only MALE Cohanim were able to serve, where there was a very strictly enforced separation of men and women. Jews go to the Kotel to pray for the restoration of the Holy Temple by G-d. These women would never want the Holy Temple to be rebuilt. Why do they want to be by the Kotel. It stands for everything they are against!
17. 15
zionist forever   (03.12.13)
WOW is a feminist movement and not a religious one, to them prayer is a cover for politics. They don't need Robinsons Arch because they are not interested in praying only making trouble to get noticed. They wan to see them as downtrodden ordinary women who just want to pray but a male dominated oppressive rabbinate won't let them so tactic is make trouble, get arrested, make front pages of newspapers, as the victim, get others to support your noble cause. All those MKS are far left and support the feminist cause and the left have this idea that the law exists only to serve their noble ideas and if the law if stopping you achieving them then do whatever it takes to have it changed.
18. Keep up the good work, ladies
Beauchard   (03.12.13)
The haredim who control the Kotel are shtetl Jews. Many of them attack the "Zionist occupation" of the Kotel and rant against the swearing in of soldiers there from the "occupation" army. They will not fight to defend the state of Israel but they demand grants and privileges from this very state and will stone Israelis if they do not abide by their clothing rules. The Women of the Wall are Zionists. Their struggle for equality is the another chapter in the age-old struggle of Zionists against the shtetl rabbis. Keep up the good work, ladies.
