1. I know this guy...
Golani ,   Harezt   (03.13.13)
We served together in the Golani ... He was my Capt.... After that, as I've heard, he started with the mosad ... Greit news ...
2. #1
Harold ,   USA   (03.13.13)
You better report to the nearest mental hospital to complete your career.
3. to Golani.
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (03.13.13)
How typically Jewish/Zionist of you to fail to mention he was then the mastermind and chief operator involved in the Dubai hit on mr. whatshisname some years ago. I remember seeing him training spy sheep afterwards. Lamb of God, indeed. I always said it: Zionists control the Vatican.
4. ALL Popes are EVIL !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (03.13.13)
5. Interesting choice ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.13.13)
... but not really surprising. He came in second to Ratzinger in 2005, after all. A Latin American (world's single largest group of Roman Catholics) by birth, but of Italian descent (that should make the Curia pretty happy). First Jesuit pope. Second pope not to have been born in Europe. (St. Peter, the first pope, was, after all, from Bethsaida in the Galilee.) Opposed to gay marriage. Opposed to artificial means of birth control. Very conservative (no Jesuit liberation theology for Francis).
6. Pope , the most powerful man on the whole world
Peter ,   USA   (03.13.13)
7. TO NR. 4.
SJOERD VAN DER VELDE ,   HOORN NH, HOLLAND   (03.13.13)
YOU ARE SO RIGHT IN THAT CASE, AT MY OPINION. THE WHOLE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE VATICAN ARE BAD. THEY STOPPED THE DEVELOPMENT OF A GREAT CATEGORY OF PEOPLE. IN FACT IT IS A FORM OF DICTATORSHIP, WHICH THE WORLDPOPULATION CAN MISS.
8. Peter # 6 Don't let Obama.....
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (03.13.13)
hear you say that. It would burst his bubble.
9. To N 5, Sarah B
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (03.13.13)
Dear Mr's Sarah B. The new Pope may be conservative about those issues, but I am sure that he will act, firmly, against pedophily, financial scandals and corruption as a whole, into our church. Peter's Boat goes on, braving the waves of the troubled sea. I am sure, also, that Vatican's relations with Israel, under his rule, will be good. In Argentine, he has been a deep enemy of militarism and anti semitism. Hence, please, give him a chance.
10. Sjoerd.
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (03.13.13)
Well, you have a nice traditional Frysian name but why do you always feel the inclination to shout. Lose the capitals. It's easier on the eye. You don't (you shouldn't) need it. Just make your point and see what happens.
11. Who cares?
A ,   Belgium   (03.13.13)
A new leader of the most corrupt organization in the world, besides the UN maybe.
12. Gabriel , Leiden, Netherlands
Golani ,   Harezt   (03.13.13)
You totaly wrong... Zionists DOES NOT control the Vatican... The Mossad does... About Franki (as we call him around her) being the mastermind and chief operator involved in the Dubai hit... How do you know about that? Only few knows...
13. #1 :-)
mark ,   ca   (03.13.13)
Not sure about your service in Golani but I'm sure that you like Beitar Yerushalaim (intellectual capacity).:-))
14. #9 U said Peter's Boat to describe the Papacy. Correct. Not
Bernie ,   Erehwon, USA   (03.13.13)
Christ's Church by any strtetch of the imagination. The scarlet woman riding the beast.
15. new Pope.
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.14.13)
Mazal tov. Let's see if he can clean up all the mess.
16. enemy of militarism? really Luiz?
Horacio ,   Buenos Aires   (03.14.13)
There is enough evidence that this guy was complicit with the military dictators and that he himself denounced two young priests who were tortured as well as others. As early as in 1976 he was already named as one of the many Argentinean priests who collaborated with the torturers. Argentinean legislators are unhappy about his promotion to Pope. He is no lamb for sure and on top of that a fan of San Lorenzo football club...
17. to #9
Josh ,   Atlanta   (03.14.13)
I read Sarah's comment on #5. It didn't come across to me as any criticism. Just the facts, man. Maybe she hates him, maybe she loves him, but I didn't get either out of what I read.
18. All religions are superstitious nonsense....
Robert ,   Australia   (03.14.13)
....why a large part of the world insists on living in the middle ages is a mystery.
19. Habemus PAPA from Argentina
DANN ,   Montevideo-R.O.U.   (03.14.13)
The new Pope JM Bergoglio comes from the neighbourhood of FLORES in Buenos Aires capital of Argentina. Its is known FLORES for some as being a neighbourhood with a big historical presence of jewish hebrew people there.May be he would be a good friend of ISRAEL

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.14.13)
Judge, it is most definitely not my place to judge him. I will wait to see what he does. To me, the biggest issues facing the Roman Catholic Church are not pedophilia and corruption, but rather the shenanigans of the Vatican Bank, which are considerable and involve funding Arab terrorist organizations. I'm more than happy to give him a chance. But he had better straighten things out, fast, before I lump him with the likes of Pope Pius XII, famed Nazi collaborator. Is that fair enough for you, Judge?

Alors, ca c'est vrai ....
22. 9
(03.14.13)
it is good and encouraging to hear this from you, mr. haddad. i hope that the catholic church under this esteemed man and pope continues to advocate for a world free of replacement theology, liberation theology and antisemitism and conducts a fair and decent relationship with jews and israel.
23. Golani
Golani ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (03.14.13)
Well, of course after the dissapointpent with the Arab-eating sharks I had a prief stint in...well, I am blowing my cover here. Don't you dare deny Frank's record. He's a true Jew hating, Christian devouring crusader involved in occupying Arab land, with a mandate of the people of Zion! seriously, however... all my blessings to the Golani brigade and all those serving at Israel's northern border....
24. Congrats, Jorge
Vlad   (03.14.13)
You are now the CEO of the wealthiest and most influential corporation in the world (and human history).
25. #16 - Yes I also heard that.
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (03.14.13)
He was the priest of the generals in the Dirty War - where Jews were particular targets. A lot of Argentinian Jews came to Israel during those years. And as for Argentina, it looks as if the Vatican is continuing the Nazi connection - that country has been giving them sanctuary since 1945...
26. vatican
anton ,   istanbul   (03.14.13)
i bet they have kindergardens inside of those holy buildings :)
27. To: No. 18
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.14.13)
I'm pleased to see you consider yourself "enlightened." Quick question. Albert Einstein believed in G-d. Do you consider yourself as smart as Einstein? Can you produce a few mathematical proofs and a Nobel Prize to prove it? How about a theory of relativity or two? Didn't think so. Perhaps the best thing you can do for yourself is to shut up, and contemplate the mysteries of the universe about which you haven't a clue. We know that you have an extraordinary penchant for embarrassing yourself. Keep going, why don't you? But I really do want to hear of your Nobel Prizes and theories of relativity first, okay?
28. To: No. 25
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.14.13)
Excellent point, Dorothy. A substantial number of Argentina's "disappeared" were Jews. Not that anyone cares .... including Argentinians.
29. Francis
muriel   (03.14.13)
his name will be Francis- NOT Francis I, not until there is a Francis II. You guys are soooo funny- what do you care about the catholic church? But just about every nut and his cousin has an opinion here- . Sometimes it would be better to just cool it and shut up instead of spouting nonsense or hearsay.
30. To: No. 26
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.14.13)
Beats way the hell out of those jihadist kindergartens in every Moslem country throughout the world. It's you who are the infidel. Not us. Islam is determined to go backwards as fast as possible. No room for "religions" that are intent on retrieving the seventh century. Most norml people prefer to progress, not regress. Time for you to shut up, Anton.
