Although American posters like to say Britain is turning Islamic, the 2011 census showed that about four and a half percent of Brits are Muslims and about 95% are non-Muslims. That's not quite a Muslim society. For every Muslim in the UK there are two or three in the USA, depending on whose figures you trust.

The League of Nations Mandate was not meant to last forever. Fortunately the Brits stopped the German advance across North Africa before the Germans reached Palestine. Regarding the Empire, you will be happy to know the British Commonwealth of 54 nations such as Canada, Australia, India, South Africa ... is doing very well as the successor of the Empire.

According to the 2011 Census, in England and Wales about fifty million people speak English or Welsh in Wales as their first language, followed by about half a million Polish speakers. Arabic came in seventh place with about 160,000 speakers. That means about one third of one percent of Brits are native Arabic speakers. Not quite a majority.
