2. Very disappointed
Jonathan   (03.17.13)
I was sure that Amir Peretz woud get the job. Does'nt experience count anymore ?
3. Great choice in Moshe! Sharon thought he got rid of him for
good. Look how ,   G-D promoted him!!!!   (03.17.13)
4. It seems tha now Netanyahu has in fact heard the voice of...
Keren ,   IL-BR   (03.17.13)
...Israel. This new government seems to reflect all Israel.
5. Good Luck to all the Ministers
Sam Sweiry ,   Eastbourne UK   (03.17.13)
Good Luck to all the Ministers in the Cabinet - Show us your strength in the face of Gloom all around us - Show us a bit of hope among the darkness which surround us - I believe you can do it - I believe in you
6. @2: Ramat Kal isn't enough experience?!
Avi Ze'ev ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.17.13)
I hope you're being sarcastic. And Peretz's experience is the failure of the 2nd Lebanon War.
7. #2: experience
wolfman jack ,   somewhere   (03.17.13)
Not unless you consider expertise in viewing far off targets with binoculars counts.
8. Everything will be alright,but...
Keren ,   IL-BR   (03.17.13)
...haredim must get this great opportunity G-d is giving to them and do a deep self-concious examination and understand that Mashiach has already come ,because we are in Israel ,what´s a miracle that speaks for itself, and we can not go back in time but opposite-we have to take the opportunities, once again given to us, and work to do the best out of it and move forward by fighting to keep this G-d and Men given Land to us. I am writing this because even the new gov.seeming to be balanced,we can not forget that haredim and Labor are in the opposition and the only way to neutralize this latter evil Labor configuration(yes,Shely seems to be very evil, eventhough one might have thought differently)is by haredim being at Israel´s and Jews side. I hope haredim change for better.
9. Expect sports mediocrity with the inept Limor Livnat.
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.17.13)
10. Ayalon
basri ,   paris   (03.17.13)
I feel something great is happening in Israël. Good men, clever, with an open heart, unity is becoming a reality. Everybody is waiting this since a very long time...
11. 2 Jonathan: Amir Peretz is truly remarkable since it was
Rivkah   (03.17.13)
on his watch that the Iron Dome defenses against missiles were put into place against much opposition. That saved cities from worse destructions if the incoming missiles had not been deflected. Perhaps one day Amir Peretz will be Prime Minister as his reward.
12. 6 Avi Ze'ev: the 2nd Lebanon War was not a failure.
Rivkah   (03.17.13)
Tel Aviv was spared when the rockets could have easily hit there, so HaShem was watching over much of the nation supernaturally, perhaps for His servant Ariel Sharon's sake since he was in a hospital near Tel Aviv. Same with Jerusalem. Shimon Perez is there and that is a protection for that city. How and why? HaShem's love and respect for them is in the ELS Scripture code matrices on their names that are very clear that to HaShem they are both important for Israel's favor with HaShem.
13. #9 I'd settle for sports mediocrity
A ,   Belgium   (03.17.13)
in exchange for economic, technological, social and military superiority.
14. #10
Dennis ,   NJ USA   (03.17.13)
Your headline was Ayalon I believe you meant Yaalon , the new Min of defense Danny Ayalon is conspicously absent: maybe his new role will be Ambassador to .. Turkey??

Sagi   (03.17.13)
I hope he does'nt forget to take his footstool wth him.
16. # 11 Rivkah
Sagi   (03.17.13)
I am going to be as pleasant and polite as possible. Both you and Amir Peretz are candidates for the funny farm.
17. well done
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (03.17.13)
netanyahu has put together a good government. hopefully, yaalon will live up to his reputation.
18. Overall, a good leadership team. A few exceptions though.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.17.13)
I have little confidence in Peretz at the Environment Ministry. He did a mediocre job at Defense, the exception being his push for Iron Dome. And though Livni has once served at Justice, it means the Levi Report will never be approved. And she can do a lot of mischief as head of "peace" talks. Like Beilin and Peres, she can go rogue, advancing proposals that would have little public support. She can leak to sympathetic journalists, undermining her own Prime Minister. (And there's little doubt she still wants to be Prime Minister.) Hopefully, Steinitz will do as well as Landau at Energy and Water. The concern is that he might delay further investment (in desalination plants, for example) because, as some claim, "the water crisis is over".
19. #18. Funny how Livni considers herself...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.18.13)
such a seasoned politician and experienced negotiator, yet she could not hit on the magic formula to get more than six seats. She really needs to reflect on what she is doing and represents so that she may understand why she did not get the landslide that I am sure she thought she would get. Why, even the inexperienced new faces passed her by flying.
