Last I thought, it was not allowed. Why? Because I can go, load a with (G-D forbid) and then not show up. So now I can do this?! It makes no sense. The guy was wrong if he was playing this. I realize its frustrating flying these days. Lord knows i really hate flying today. The rules are getting stupid. Beyond stupidity in some airports under the guise of security. We need security no doubt. Selling more tickets than seats? Unable to get your luggage off a plane you cant catch? Come on people. Just goes too show you, they darn sure can if he joked about a bomb on his bag. Not a joking matter i know, but personally i would have commented the same while grumbling to myself. Its frustrating. I have seen out security staff body check some 10yrof old boy while letting some arabic people walk straight through due to not being seen as profiling arabs or islamic people. Im sorry, but they are more likely a suspect than some little boy or church group. Just saying?

Try opening your brains for a moment to try and speculate what happened as this story is not complete. He prob said to them how can u send luggage on a flight without the people flying what if it has a bomb or so etching stupid lie that... He prob said it after a long flight and after all the arguing and yelling that goes with a canceled connecting flight... And only then did he have a "moment" where he used the wrong word... You guys are all a bunch of self hating Jews .. Always looking to bash the next one

I understand your feelings and I have felt like you have but if you are a kind and decent person you can help by your actions.I have lived in the U.S. most of my life and yes in public people are usually patient and polite.I do think Israeli's are more hospitable when you are in their home.I hope you can forgive our brothers and sisters that are making you feel hurt.I don't know the future but if they ever round up Jews again for being Jews some of those same people might be risking their lives for your safety and of course many others.I wish for you the best and hope you meet some very nice Israelis before you leave your homeland.Peace to you and try to forgive if you can.

I too would have been furious. My bags are on a plane that I cant get onto, but they wont give me my bags... WTF?? We don't know what he really said so dont assume he was out of line, when the airline clearly was behaving unacceptably.
