1. Not a "peculiar way". A hateful, dishonst, despicable way.
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.28.13)
There is nothing "peculiar" about the way most of the foreign media covers Israel's conflict with "Palestinian" poseurs who seek to steal our land. It is very deliberately hateful, dishonest and despicable.
2. Make them defend the "pigs and apes" rhetoric
GZLives   (03.28.13)
3. It's part of the war...
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (03.28.13)
All in all it is part of the overall war since 1948 . Palestinians killed Israeli athletes in Munich, Germany , killed the Fogel family in 2011 ,and they recently badly hurt that Israeli toddler while Israelis killed civilians in Qibya ( 1953) , in Kfar Qassem ( 1956) , and were responsible for the massacre of Palestinian refugees in Beirut during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 . Israel was also responsible for killing scores of arab civilians in the Lebanese town of Qana even twice : in 1996 and then in 2006 ... ! And most recently three Israeli young guys badly beat an arab sanitation worker in Tel Aviv on Purim and crushed a bottle on his head...Besides, you know, just like everybody knows, that until now Israel keeps using the Holocaust of WW II in a blown-out way to influence the emotions of Europe to make the Gentiles feel guilty in order to squeeze sympathy for Jews out of it... And most often if someone expresses an opinion not to the liking of Israel he is immediately considered " anti-Semite " ...So, everybody tries to use media in the most effective manner in order to win the propaganda war...
4. Trogan Horses For The Palestinians
Dany Toren ,   Haifa Israel   (03.28.13)
The British news paper THE GUARDIAN is one of the worst anti-Semitic anti-Zionist anti-Israel web sites, they have daily articles smearing Israel. They have dubious Muslims writing for them, usually fanciful rubbish about Israel. Their reporters who are stationed in Jerusalem have never written one single good word about Israel.Israel should kick them out, send them packing
5. Cannot ignore Humanitarian Tradgedies
Zechariah   (03.28.13)
The Jews cannot ignore the humanitarian Tradgedies but the World press cannot explain why a strip of land in desert zones is subject to attack by enemies with huge tracts of land Oil wealth and a billion people plus determined to wage war on the Jews the principle of Islamic Dhimmi and the World Califate by The Armed Islamics is ignored .The picture ought reflect the Tradgedy of War and the misery .
6. A dose of wishful thinking
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.28.13)
He says: "... recurring pro-Palestinian propaganda will never lead to peace and stability neither for the State of Israel nor for the Palestinians living in Gaza, Judea and Samaria. In a conflict that has been going on for more than six decades, unbiased information must be seen as a true game-changing element." Shouldn't the writer know by now that after six decades there is no such thing as unbiased information? For unbiased information to start flowing again the sides need to be separated for a very long time, separated by force if nothing else works. This article doesn't propose a solution. This is what wishful thinking theoreticians do, usually, waste our time.
7. Lost in Translation: 6 of 168 Arabs killed by friendly fire
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.28.13)
8. Media likes underdog+likes sticking it to Jews
Sam ,   Canada   (03.28.13)
No matter how many Jews die people just get a kick sticking it to Jews who they think have it so good.
9. It is to the Hasbarah be more efficient
Keren IL-BR   (03.28.13)
Israel should track every news and answer to it immediately. The hate campaign and the victimization are powerful weapons agains our standing in the international field. Midia is against us and gives a freee voice to antisemites and radicals. We depend on the Governemnt to counter act and preserve our dignity.
10. I've said it a long time ago
tiki ,   belgium   (03.28.13)
The MEDIA is the 3rd party in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and a obstruction to it's solution! It's about time Israel recognized this fact and starts treating these western journalist as such. Scrutinize them more thoroughly before giving them the green light of roaming the streets of Israel, Judea & Shomron in order to vilify it, would be a first step! Their 'revenge of vilifying Israel & spreading lies, would then be justified.
11. #8:Sorry, Hasbara is worthless when our PM throws it all
tom ,   tel aviv   (03.28.13)
down the well by saying "Pardon us, oh Magnificent Turkish Mustachoid"! Second: boys will be boys & the "World" will dislike the "Jew" until the very end....
12. BBC didn't report on Syria for 8 days during Israel op.
(03.28.13)
13. maybe...but
rm ,   Amsterdan, NL   (03.28.13)
the thing is. Israel won't be satisfied untill the media completely adhere to the Israeli side of events. I.e. that Israel is the victim. That the current problems have NOTHING to do with the settlements. That everything the Palestinians do is malicious, violent and dishonest and ,,,,do I need to go on? There's 2 sides to every story but both protagonists act as if there's only one....that's one of the biggest problems in this conflict.
14. (13) rm in A'dam
tiki ,   belgium   (03.28.13)
"There are two sides to every story". You're right, the right one and the wrong one. The worst enemies of the Arab Palestinians are....the Palestinians, their leaders, the Media and people who talk like you.
15. #14
(03.28.13)
As a Belgian you should know it is pointless arguing with Mr. NSB from Amsterdam. Truth does not matter to him, only the chant "Hamas Hamas, Joden naar het..
16. We are realy funny people
David ,   Miami   (03.28.13)
So the Author is angry because the international community are not happy at the way Israel is behaving in “the “Occupied Territory” Because they Use words like “occupation, Colonization, apartheid “. Are the Palestinians under Occupation, Aren’t they allowed to use roads that built on Palestinians land for the benefits of settlers like the author, aren’t the settlements are illegal in Occupied territory by international Standards, Didn’t we place most of the west bank behind walls of prison called security fence. Therefore, People wonder why others hate us. Sorry to tell you people, but Moses did not likes us much either after the Exodus from Egypt; we were lost in the desert for 40 years because of our behavior. Know we have been lost since the 1967 that is 46 years. Well, I wonder how long will it take to see the light this time?
17. This picture was used at least 25 times

18. Talkin' about chutzpah ,..
split ,   US   (03.28.13)
F16's, Apaches, drones, guided cluster, phosphorous bombs, most deadly war toys ever created against slingshots and flying gutters despite those facts still playing a victim, shocked that the rest of us dare to see them for what they are, a ruthless colonial regime ,...
19. #13 and #16 - please re-read the article.
Expat ,   Adelaide   (03.28.13)
The author isn't asking for a preferential treatment from the media. All he is asking is for a FAIR coverage: a coverage without LIES (e.g. showing a photo of a dead Palestinian boy, supposedly from 'Israeli aggression', but really from a Palestinian rocket), without empty buzzwords ("Apartheid", "Genocide", "colonization", etc), which would show victims on BOTH sides, not only the Palestinian, and finally - which would make a clear distinction between legitimate criticism of Israel, and outward delegitimization. All he's calling for is fairness and impartiality.
20. Certain Israeli media are also guilty
Joseph ,   London England   (03.28.13)
Another aspect of the problem is that Israeli media themselves can provide hostile perspectives. Although we seem to note The Guardian, The Independent and the BBC, we should also note that Haaretz, for instance, feeds the anti-Israel media. And the more the 'secular' Israeli media attack Israeli Haredim, the more the non-Jewish media bash Israel
21. Here we go again ,...
split ,   US   (03.28.13)
Try to note a fact that your finger pointing and blame others doesn't work anymore it brings a smirk on someone's face that's all - It's your conduct stupid that we can watch in real time in color and almost smell the blood your goons are spewing in occupied Palestine.
22. #18, #21 Don't blame Jews that "Blood and Honor"
A ,   Belgium   (03.28.13)
won't let you and your national socialist wannabe companions join their website. Even they have scruples.
23. Oppressors crying "victim" again. hasbara
American Vet   (03.28.13)
24. Get lying leftist "journalists" out of our land.
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.28.13)
The key issue behind the issue of the lying leftists "journalists", who constantly demonize Israel, is one simple question: Why does Israel allow these despicable hateful morons to enter and stay in Israel? Get them out of our land forever!
25. #18 split
Maurice ,   Montreal   (03.28.13)
"...the rest of us dare to see them for what they are, a ruthless colonial regime..." The "rest of us" is not the majority of the western world. It's only those who support terror and Islamist extremism (i.e. Hamas). You are in such good company! You can be so proud! As was recently shown in many polls the majority of Americans and the President Obama himself FULLY support and identify with Israel. Eat your heart out!...:)
26. #3 "were responsible for the massacre
A ,   Belgium   (03.28.13)
of Palestinian refugees in Beirut ". WRONG! Christian phalangist ARABS took revenge on "palestinian" ARABS for destroying their country and for murdering their Christian president , which they did under Arafats corrupt leadership. Put the blame where it belongs
27. To # 26 : Kahan Commission ...!
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (03.28.13)
You seem to be not aware of the findings and recommendations of the Israeli " Kahan Commission " which was set up of impartial Israeli court judges to investigate the massacre of the Palestinian refugee camp in Beirut in 1982 ; the commission concluded that the Israeli government bore indirect responsibility for that massacre and it also recommended that several Israeli army top officers step down as a result . Ariel Sharon himself , then minister of defense, and Raphael Eitan, then chief of staff , resigned because of that...
28. The Israelis are in charge
Jerrold Cohen ,   Seal Beach, CA, US   (03.29.13)
The whole point is that Palestinian casualties and wounding outnumber those of Israelis by a factor of say 10 to 1, and no matter who reports particular incidents in what way, the Israelis are totally in charge and the Palestinians are getting slaughtered.
29. #7
Non-Jew ,   England   (03.28.13)
Ya think so, Steve? There were at least 150 KNOWN (i.e. SEEN to fall short of Israel) shortfalling rockets fired by Hamas during Pillar of Defense - incidentally, the average percentage of Gazan rockets that fall short (not just during PoD) is around 10%. Based on that fact, and given the very high population density in Gaza, it would be quite remarkable if only 6 of the 168 Gazans who died during PoD were killed by shortfalling Hamas rockets.
30. #27 The Israeli politicians did not kill anyone
A ,   Belgium   (03.28.13)
as you said yourself...indirect responsibility. Direct responsibility? The "palestinians" who set up a terrorist base under Arafat in S. Lebanon, and whose constant attacks against Israel led to the war. Sharon, after that, was elected prime minister, Rafool, unfortunately, drowned. My father worked with a Lebanese Christian, I heard all the stories of what the "palestinians" did in Beirut to the Christians, and how they destroyed a beautiful city. There is no defense for their bestiality, and although I don't condone the revenge the Christians took on them in Sabra and Shatilla, I can understand that the massacre was a result of ARAB lust for revenge.
