It goes through and through to see these photos. As to the Christians who were at Dachau - I met a very aged Catholic priest at a conference about the subject of suffering who had been imprisoned in the concentration camp there. His testimony to the presence of God amidst the deep darkness there was impressing. Thus, he fellowshipped there with another priest - who gave his last bread to him before he died as a martyr.

Every time I see pictures like this I get more and more reasured of the standing of Israel in the world. There is no place like home and for us Jews Israelis is this: home. No enlightned and open society will ever give us the sense of feeling at home, protected and safe. When I see the faces of those people in the camps I wish by that time we had already a strong and powerful Israel to rescue them all and bring them home.

An article published back in 2002 states: the estimate is that 45,000,000 Christians have been martyred in the twentieth century, alone. According to the same estimate, the total number of Christians martyred since the time of Christ is around 70,000,000. Christians are by-and-far the most persecuted faith-group there is! The facts are undeniable! The Christian holocaust continues, and the world, as they did with the Jews' holocaust during WWII, remains silent about this mass-murder of true Christians! One would have to wonder why so many would/are willing to die? It’s because we know that Jesus was who He said He was, and no one can change that truth! There were roughly 31,951 deaths reported: roughly 15,000 Christians, 10,000 Jews, 5000 or so misc. Answer me this question? Why were there so many Christian chapels found there? actually, no! there were over 40,000 concentration camps in europe according to a recent study by brandeis university recently. no one could believe the high number because most people, like yourself heard only of the main ones. but there were thousands of others less known ones in the recent archival discoveries by brabdeis university; camps that were not well known or written about before 2013. as to the christians in the camps of dachau, in the beginning, the camp was indeed for political prisoners and clergy that opposed the nazis. but, in 1942, it became strictly a jewish concentration camp and a death camps housing mainly jews. yes, it started with poli prisoners and prisoners from the clergy, but later transfered into a jewish death camps. read friedlander's first and second books. they will tell you how dachau eventually became an only jewish death camp in 1942.

you forgot one little important fact as to the number of christians persecuted and murdered and jews persecuted and murdered. jews constitute only less than 1% of the world population, while christians are in the millions and even a billion. so, statistically, the amount of jews dead considering they only numbered 14 million all over the world at that time and in europe only7 million, their holocaust cost them 90% of their population. while christians number in the billion, their deaths do not even come close to 90% of the entire christian population in the world.

Six million Jews accounted for one-third of the Jewish population of the world. And the likelihood is that the six million number is low, considering that before the Nazis began keeping their meticulous records, entire Jewish villages and towns fell victim to the Einsatzgruppen, leaving no one alive to account for those who were massacred. But if one-third of the Christian population of the world were to be exterminated, you might have a plausible arugment to posit. As it is, you do not. Just sayin'.

Besides- the Catholics in the camp- yes but did you know that followers of catholicism have their own version of Christianity - a replacement version by the way. I know there were many sub-camps, off-shoots of the main ones. I'm not trying to diminish what the evil Hitler (he was NOT a true Christian--period!) did to God's chosen people! I love and support Israel; they're being occupied my the godless Muslims! My heart breaks for the Jewish people! All I'm saying is an untold number of true Christians have died trying to help the Jews; we too have been/and are being murdered everyday for our faith; more than any other faith--period! Jake Stone and I are saying basically the same thing; apparently, it's your reading comprehension that needs work. And, as far as reading goes, I've read more than you'll ever read! Now, again, I will say, regardless of the percentage of the worlds population the Jews' may hold--not many; but, the Jews have been around longer than the Christian Church has. It still contend that more Christians have been persecuted and murdered than Jews. Just the numbers compared to percentages bear that fact out. It's like comparing apple to oranges--hard to do! Again, as a faith-based belief system, no group has been persecuted like the Christians have been over the last 2000 years! What happened to the Jews was a travesty of humanity! Pure evil was Hitler! It will never be forgotten! But, apparently, even you, have forgotten the millions of martyred Christians. I think all that Taz Man is saying is that Jews and Christians have been horribly persecuted through the years. No one group has the monopoly on that sad fact of man's inhumanity to man!
