This was quite a surprise to read. Wow was also the first word that came to mind. The author mentioned that we have basically been accused of giving Hamdiyeh Cancer. Israeli PR does not,has never, matched that of the Palestinians. They have utilised all forms of the media to publicise their view, including Pallywood and have organised pro-active groups and moved on to de-legitimise Israel.The media is now quick to publish anti-Israeli reports but ignores most positive aspects, including those mentioned in this article. Time for Israel to move up a gear and not remain complacent just because it knows it is acting humanely.

The attitude of "no one likes us, no one is going to listen to us" has to stop. If an Israeli is hurt in by a rocket or a rock, it has to be plastered all over every media outlet continuously, Israeli spokespersons (and they have a few very good, native English speakers) must be condemning every act of violence until the message sinks in that the "palestinians" have no interest in peace, only violence. Israel should play the game the way the arabs play it , but with complete honesty and without lies, distortions and photoshop.

The General Attorney has just canceled funding to a Yeshiva in the West Bank due to the vicious attacks of hilltop students on aged Palestinians and the author said Obama lied. Elyakim is a lier. Every word President Obama spoke was the truth. Palestinians in the WB are being subjected to unspoken cruelty, home demolition, restriction of movement, apartheid, ethnic cleansing by evicting 700,000 Palestinians in order to create Jewish majority in the present day Israel. Excellent article. This is the type of self respecting journalism we need to see much more of in Israel. It is utterly absurd to engage in phony "peace talks with Palestinians" who would mass murder us all in a heartbeat if they could. Israel needs to treat them as the genocidal enemies they are and get them out of our land permanently.

pprejudice does exist in Israel in all forms. Jews are favored in the society since we had so many wars. But peace will not happen unless Isreal reaches out to the Palestinians with more economical incentives and help. That can be achieved in WB. Gaza is a lost case with HAM ASS ruling it. We can't change that and we can only hope that Egypt will rise up and will accept Gaza as their land. It is a tough road and we are going to get slapped once in a while but we will be rewarded at the end. We must make Palestinians realize that Jordan and Egypt should share the burden as well. We must come to an agreement with WB and Jordan and release WB to Jordan as Palestine or whatever they want to call it. That is our only hope to stop being called occupiers and such. Palestinians are on the verge of realization that their problems are economical and not so much about authority over land. Year by year they realize that they too could have shared the land with Israel. I know I'm dreaming, but why not!!!
