I am linked with too many people. Most of them have never contacted me more than once. Where is the value of linkedIN?

I keep hoping that some pro Israeli Advocacy group will see me as a value addition asset and contact me regarding a job. Linked In hasn't really provided that networking capability for me yet. I wish others good luck with it...
