And everyone knows that the US is the most discriminatory and racist country against blacks, hispanics and women. It is even reported how the best US universities are starting racial profiling and quotas to prevent too many Asians from getting an education.

Ahh, ofcourse while we're at it lets say us evil Jews will drink your gentile blood too! That "report" has no attachment to reality whatsoever, except for claims of discrimination against illegal immigrants that have been perpetrated by some individuals. All other claims including that of institutional discrimination are outright lies, the authors of this report should be probed.
5. With all due respect, the US State Department is NOT the...
Adam Smith   (04.20.13)

they are claiming this against a government that hires and pays their MK's even if they publicly talk about the destruction of the state of Israel (zoabi, tibi etc). and might I remind everyone that Israel does have over 1.4 million Arab citizens. and well, on the other side of the spectrum, the Palestinians aren't too quiet about their future state being 100% Jew free. oh yeah and they would most likely slaughter you and drag your body with a motorcycle through their villages IF YOU EVEN SAY A POSITIVE WORD PUBLICLY IN REGARDS TO ISRAEL (and that's too their own people). every country has its faults and shortcomings. but Israel is light years ahead almost every other nation besides the US. and the US doesn't have to deal with Canada and Mexico sending their people to sacrifice their lives to just kill a few innocent civilians. I am not by any means saying Israel is perfect, there's allot of things Israel needs to do. but just ask Russia how they deal with their enemies in Chechnya. ask the Turks how they deal with the Kurds (actually don't, they'll just lie, but they straight up blow up families if the Kurds even look at them negatively). ask Syria what they do to their enemies. Israel goes way beyond any other country to tow the morality line. If they didn't, you wouldn't be seeing so many prisoners (who I might add have killed many Jewish civilians) being swapped for a Jewish soldier. plus you wouldn't see every activist and their mother doing a fly-in, or protesting on the Gaza border with Israel if they for a second thought they would be killed. you don't see them pulling those things around too many other middle eastern countries because they would be killed. the reason why Israel needs to be so damn strict on most of these matters, it's because their up against enemies that their only dream In life is too either be a martyr and kill some Jews. or their at the top (mashall) eating fat, and making millions off of their own peoples suffering, and indoctrinate their youth to be savagely anti Jewish/Israel. this report from the state dept couldn't be farther from the truth being the area Israel is located. I'm sure if Israel had neighbors that didn't have goals in life of martyrdom, most of these issues would fix themselves.
10. Political smear
Shaul R ,   USA   (04.20.13)
Terrorist attacks against civilians are the biggest human rights problem - and Israel gets blamed? I know, it's like those appalling human rights conditions in the Warsaw ghetto - all the Jews' fault... This twisted narrative would have been funny if not for the depressing fact that the US State Department appears to have joined the jackals (to borrow amb. Kirkpatrick phrase).
11. US REPORT;ISRAEL DISCRIMINATES ARABS,WOMEN AND MIGRANTS
JUDITH WOLTERS ,   ISRAEL   (04.20.13)
may be they should go to one of the arab countries!!
12. Hmm, they didn't include Israel as guilty of the Boston...
Alex   (04.20.13)
blasts... Wierd, I mean Israel is guilty of everything, right?
13. #2 This is Ad Homindem

Please argue against the argument not against who made it!
14. You've GOT to be kidding me
Jessie Cohen ,   Israel   (04.20.13)
Ha, why don't they check into human rights abuses in the Palestinian Authority - dragging murdered "collaborators' bodies through the streets from the back of a car? How 'bout Syria - the torture and murder of children and the rape of women?? Hello?? Israel is heaven on earth compared to Arab countries.
15. Guantanamo Bay, Muslim discrimination, illegal Immigration
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (04.20.13)
Looking at the current (and last 3) US government's record, they are fine ones to talk. Guantanamo Bay- improper use of security detention procedures Muslim discrimination - institutional and societal discrimination, especially after 9/11 and the Boston bombing illegal Immigration - mistreatment of refugees and asylum seekers and violations of migrants' rights As always someone accuses someone else of the things they are afraid of or are doing themselves
16. Who reports upon the State Dept. ?
Steve ,   UK   (04.20.13)
No government is perfect, and Israel is no exception. That said, I wonder who reports upon the US State Dept., and bodies like the UK Foreign Office, entities which compete to vilify and denigrate the Jewish state at every opportunity, along with their allies in the EU. Entities who consider themselves to be judge and jury, and which give a free pass to those in the Middle East whose policies against Jews and their state do not bear repeating here, as they will be refused publication. In Afghanistan and Iraq the host countries providing such reports have used far, far more force than Israel under similar circumstances. Arab bodies across the region, including those in direct conflict with Israel itself, have used far, far more force against Israel, often indiscriminately against civilians. During such violence the US State Dept., and its allies have been largely silent. What the US and the international community is prepared to circumvent for political expediency is again demonstrated here. This report, like others before it, is selective and political. I reiterate that Israel is far from perfect, but those confronting it are hostile to its very existence and act accordingly. The context of such circumstances is always conspicuous by its absence in such rhetoric.
17. Israel could compose a similar report on America
Expat ,   Adelaide   (04.20.13)
And its treatment of illegal aliens, shooting Mexicans on the border, dispossessing Native Americans of their lands, discrimination of blacks in the work force, lack of sufficient social services in the inner city slums, the racism in the deep South, the virtually non-existent racial integration between whites and blacks, the treatment of prisoners in Guantanamo and other hidden detention facilities, the constant infringement of personal privacy in the name of National Security, the lack of regulation on the Internet which allows the blooming of neo-nazism and antisemitism on American websites, and the buying of American Congressmen by the ultra-rich. How would America react when someone else were to put a mirror to their face? Methinks they might not appreciate it too much. America should stick to America's internal matters.
18. The State Department forgot to mention...
Ehud   (04.20.13)
... the Israeli drone attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which kill mostly civilians and the Israeli prisoners in Guantanamo Bay,
19. a one-sided superficial report that relies mainly on hearsay
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (04.20.13)
Sadly, the authors of the report did not spend anytime in Israel doing research, but relied mostly on Arab complaints & media report. Yes, there is some discrimination of minorities in employment, as there is in all countries, especially the U.S. Israel is the most humane country dealing with terrorists & violent protesters, using non-lethal methods even when rocks & firebombs are thrown at them. Try stoning or firebombing the NYPD, you'll get shot at - & they would be justified. I wonder if there will be a human rights report against the PA who jails people for criticizing the president.
20. Well I suppose this is where I...
Gideon Reader   (04.20.13)
...get to express my heartfelt belief that the U .S. State Department is staffed (at all levels) by drab comics, fools, incompetents, slatterns and slags of both genders; and perform no particular service other than to embarrass we taxpayers with their shoddy and silly work product. Cookie pusher is the kindest descriptor for these cash wasting submoronic douchebags. A strongly worded comment may follow.
21. look who is talking
let there be light ,   free as a bird   (04.20.13)
the us state department is filled with pompous people convinced of the absolute superiority of america. look at the patriot act, the warrantless searches by the fbi, the drone wars, the rule by executive orders and regulations, the fast and furious, the illegal lybia war, the death penalty, the two million people incarcerated, the armed militias, the attacks on jews everywhere, especially on university campuses, the many homeless, the lack of treatment for the mentally ill, the exorbitant price of medical treatment, the gated communities, the lack of government and presidential transparency, the self-censored press, and so forth.
22. Troubling Report

23. This "report" is pure bull!
Reuven   (04.20.13)
24. This is the direct work of Obama & Clinton
SoMuchForTheSmiles ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.20.13)
From Israel's inception the U.S. State Dept has had a virelent hate of Israel well documented not to mention it's shameful policies denial and lack of help in the Holocaust period, this latest you can be sure is the work of Obama and his henchwoman Hilary Clinton so much for the smiles and pats on the back while here.
25. The State Dept is crazy
Pauldeparis ,   Paris, France   (04.20.13)
This administration should look at Arab countries, Russia, China... and of course at the USA. Could it be anti-zionist? or be in the hands of anti-zionists?
26. different standards????
les ,   canada   (04.20.13)
the state dept. on behalf of hussein? seem to me there is a different standard when their skin is in the game. like in boston... where they were 100% justified to do what had to be done! and so should israel do!
27. American Rights Abuse
LeeVT ,   USA   (04.20.13)
The State Department should take a look at abuse in America. We shouldn't talk about discrimination against minorities; Pot calling the kettle black.
28. Look who's talking
Yeshayahu Hollander ,   Petah Tikva   (04.20.13)
IGRANTS: Obama loves migrants, others in the US - not as much. WOMEN: What is the percentage of women directors of banks in the US? Our biggest bank [Bank Leumi] has its second women in the top job. Has there been a woman president in the US? Israel has had two women Prime Ministers. ARABS: How many Arabs are there in Congress? Israel has had about 10 Arabs in Israel's parliament for decades. How many women directors are there in the State department?
29. This is no news, and it's not new.
Persian CAT   (04.20.13)
What has changed is the attitude of the US towards Israel. In short the American people have awakened and realized they don't have an ally in Israel. The US interests in the region is pointing to directions that Israel does not like, but can's stop it either. The new, and improved relations between Iran and the US. That's what Israei is afraid of and wants to change. But can it?! Not so far.
30. to 3 : Thanks Fad you are absolutaly right
