How would America react when someone else were to put a mirror to their face?

No "sea change" here in US-Israeli affairs. The State Dept. has always been somewhat inclined toward favoring wider relations with the Arab states, and under the current progressive regime in DC, they currently have the encouragement and latitude to release such a report. A report tailored emphasizing "rights" and sourness on Israel so as to mirror and please the progressive quality of those in the White House. The interests & mutual needs of the alliance are as sound and intact as ever, and this "snarl" out of the State Dept. signals no threat or altering. Liberal wonks in the State Dept. indulging themselves under Obama. The US-Israeli fundamentals do not change.

No country is perfect because there are no perfect people. Israel should be criticized when it deserves to be criticized,but why wasn't there a report on any other countries human rights in the region? The Syrian Government tortures and murder their own children but as far as I know there is no State Department Report criticizing them.

Anyone living in Israel know that what the report states is true. It is no surprise to anyone. As a matter of fact, this is an annual report and is almost the same every year. Instead of denying the facts, let's all work together, Israeli jews,Israeli Arabs,men,women, Ethiopians to make this a better and stronger country were we everyone has equal opportunity to succeed in life.

In a little country with 10 million people, is officially divided in 4 parts, three governments, three languages and a true '''language barrier'' over which wars were fought & peace hasn't been found, government crises occur till this day and people refuse to speak the language of the other. In a little country where a Maroccan & other (non white) Belgium citizens, who are applying for a job will get the answer that it's taken, while it's not, apartments have 'just been rented, when they are not, where non white youngsters are not allowed in disco's and where this week-end results came out over the enormous discrimination & racism in the country. I have a better idea. If you feel so discriminated against, why not just leave? You can go to Egypt. You can go to Syria. You can go to Lebanon. You can go to Jordan. You can go to Libya. You can go to Morocco. You can go to Algeria. You can go to Tunisia. You can go to Saudi Arabia. You can go to Iraq. You can go to any Arab country you want. Israel is not your home, so amscray. If you're that unhappy in Israel, wouldn't you feel ever so much more comfortable living among your own kind? Marauding Arab land thieves? Bad idea to bite the hand that feeds you, Rami. America has made many wretched decisions, slavery, women's rights etc. however, as a young democracy it has also been a part of our past and present to correct the legal inequities and, hopefully, make a better America. We may have gone too far when it comes to being 'liberal' - proof being an amateur pro muslim in the WH who, ( supposedly ) is a constitutional lawyer who isn't well acquainted with the laws. For one example only the obama 'health care' which is about to remove most employees 40 hour work week and be replaced by a 30 hour week, in order to avoid paying for the employees insurance. So, the bottom line is, a good employee loses a fourth of his income and has no insurance. Way to go oybummer! 31/2 more years of this nightmare

What no condemnation against Syria, this is ridiculous and a joke. the administration that released this and approved this should be reprimanded and or sued... it is just stupid... here you have Iran building a nuclear bomb and laughs at this administration, along with the mistreatment of its people. and Syria who is murdering its people thousands so far and not one lifts a finger to help. even over to the Jordanian / Egyptian Arabs that call themselves Palestinians The government for these people oppress then greatly just to make good for news against Israel.. after all how can one small people get billions of dollars in financial aid from governments and over a million a month ( from Israel taxes collected on their behalf) and not be as well off as other countries? the poverty we see on the news is not what is really on the ground. if you go to Israel and observe across the border you will see multi unit 2 to 6 story homes ( not apartments) for a single family they are not impoverished, Israel has been on the hook for their electric bill which they have refused to pay, yet their leaders still have enough money for foreign travel, live plush life styles and work in very nice offices. but all the world sees is an impoverished people... and Israel as the aggressor. who sends suicide bombers ? not Israel.. we stopped them almost up to 99% by building a very large wall between us.. otherwise it would be a different story and we would be doing more cast lead adventures to stop the terror.
