So why do musicians think that they are eligible to talk politics, I don't know, but it would be much better to stick with what they do best: making good music and not bad politics.

Israel is a country separate than the west bank and Gaza strip. Palestinians do not live in israel, they have no rights in another country, just as you don't have any rights in a different country in which you are not a citizen. Israelis , and Israeli Arabs live in Israel, not palestinians. palestinians have as much right to live in Israel as Mexicans do to live in the United States! It is sick how you and the others compare the complex situation between the Israelis and the palestinians, to actual segregation. South Africa had apartheid, America had apartheid. what the Jews went through in Nazi Germany was apartheid! The fact that Israel is doing Palestine a humanitarian favor, by letting its citizens work in Israel, supplying them with electricity and water, i think this fact confuses you that we actually owe them everything, while their own leaders take advantage of them. they don't want to live in our country, they want to build theirs over ours! FYI, Israeli Arabs are everything but segregated! they get tax breaks in Israel, there is an Israeli Arab serving in the Israeli supreme court., they are allowed to serve in the army if they so choose. (most famous one is a helicopter pilot!) I dare any one of you here to research Israeli Arabs in Israel, you will see for yourselves! The Palestinians in the WB are under occupation by the Israelis and cannot move arround without Isralei permisison, cannot trave out side without Israel permission, they cannot drill a water well without Israels permission, they cannot open a company or trade without israels permission and the cannot travel on jewish settttlers only roads not to mention the Jews are subjected ti civil laws and their Palestinian neighbors are subjected to military laws that deprive them of all civil rights. The Palestinians have not been negotiating for 20 years. I think they barely negotiated for a month before the walked out. In order for negotiations to happen both parties would have to sit at a negotiating table. Abbas and Erekat refuse to do this because of their hemorrhoids.
