I regret very much the refered actitudes from a part of her people. I respect their religious feelings, but, if they want to live in the Jewish State, they must, of course, uphold the law, pay taxes and do military services or others. They have to respect women's rights, too. Fanaticism and intolerance are always dangerous.

Keep pushing to have public transport on Shabbat. Keep pushing to have restaurants and cinemas open. Keep pushing to reject everything Jewish and you have the recipe for those who will overtake you in the democratic vote as you only have 2 children and they have 10. The problem is that the government do not keep halacha, the problem is the secular who fill the streets drunk and drugged on Friday nights. The problem is not the symbols, it is the set-up of the State of Israel. Yes, they do join the army because they have to fight to protect their own families. But sooner or later they will be in the majority because you are not doing what you should be doing., The symbols are a minimal issue. The date of Tish'a B'Av is our mourning date, so it is a matter for the government to realize that they had the date wrong. There will be no rift in the near future. Israel will go Jewish. And you can go to live somewhere else where they adhere to your values.
