31. Ora , 29 . I'm honest !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.28.13)
When there is something to appreciate , i do it . Sincerely !
32. Frankfurt Haredim
Joseph ,   London England   (04.28.13)
In the Hirschian Frankfurt Kehillohs one finds top professionals in many fields who also make time every day for intensive Torah study. Women are exempt from deep Torah study, giving them more time for professional development and also their traditional family role. Torah im Derech Eretz must be nurtured in Eretz Yisrael.
33. Ora , my # 9
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.28.13)
A question . Do i have to know exactly what those women did to appreciate it , to appreciate the FACT that they achieved something great ? The same with those tora "students" where i say that they do NOT contribute to the State .
34. 30 Charles Be a little more patient
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.28.13)
All the Haredim that contributed to Israel were educated in Yeshivot. Your" less than effes' is insulting and shows again your ignorance of the subject. Do at least some OBJECTIVE research instead of talking in the air . Let me tell you,i am full of respect for the great job you do in the foreign media. Our enemies are impressed too. They do not want to believe that you are a Jew,and think you are one of them in disguise, for political reasons.I had a good laugh. Since a few days i don t find any trace of you there .Can you help me? Shavuah Tov,Charles.
35. 33 Charless,unless you judge women
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.28.13)
on their beauty,YES,you have to know what they did to appreciate.
36. Ora ,
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.28.13)
You wrote "all the charedim ...." Yes there were some, educated in yeshivot . But there were not many . So when i say that they did contribute "less than effes" it's proportionally to the contribution of the seculars . Most reactions have been deleted , and it become impossible to react on many topics . i had some good laughs there too . I don't judge women on their beauty , but on what they are . I haven't to know the hi tec those great women produced , for me when people who know , and congratulate them it is enough to appreciate their work . Of course , when i see a beautyfull women , i appreciate her beauty . Not related to her "achievements" at all .
37. Ora , i haven't to know
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.28.13)
how to paint something , i can appreciate a nice painting , or dislike a bad one . I haven't to have a big knowledge of tora to see that most of yeshiva "students" do NOT contribute to the State .
38. 37 Charles,If i don t understand ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.28.13)
anything of paintings,i can appreciate or dislike whatever, but i will not give my opinion, just not to appear ridiculous to those who understand. i enjoy a lot your comments about Jewish history. Let me keep the great impression i have of you .
39. 38 , Ora
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.29.13)
But i know something about "non contribution of yeshiva "students" , i can say it too . If yoiu think you're ridiculous when giving your opinion , why are you giving so much ?
40. 39 Charles, happens that people ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.29.13)
that don t know.... don t know, that they don t know, and they think they know.
41. 40 Charles,don t get me wrong...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.29.13)
i could not convince you so i tried to confuse you. I take it all back, since making you feel good is more important than my ego.
42. Ora , 41
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.30.13)
Listen , i know that MOST of yeshiva students DO NOT contribute to the State . No need for me to be a Tora specialist to know it . After your # 40 i was thinking to react on a "hard" way . But your # 41 made me change my mind . Have fine days with your GREAT heart .
43. 42 Thanks Charles.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.30.13)
44. Feed the spark to unsheathe the sun!
Elliot ,   Los Angeles, USA   (04.30.13)
I received an email from JCT suggesting this article, and indeed it was worth the read. Congratulations on being part of this! I only hope that this will be a successful grappling hook across the tragic divide in Israeli society to begin bridging the spectrum from Chiloni to Haredi, and right to left. How long shall the nation be as walnuts banging around, held only by a burlap sack of external threat -- shall Antisemitism be the only thing that continues to hold Israel, and Diaspora Jewry about it, together? Here, even a unified lump of coal has the advantage, for external pressure will someday make of it a diamond. Shall not Israel sparkle like a diamond, even each individual as a star, and in whole, like our local star. Let us unsheathe this sun, and finally become that destined Light unto the Nations -- it is just unity itself that can do this (certainly a most healthy goal for any nation, at least). I look forward to a world with a unified Israel, role model of a new unified Humanity. This, full circle to where all will "beat their swords into plowshares ... nor will they train for war anymore." And finally such ingenious ladies and JCT will be safe, and free to beat their defense chips into computation and communication enablers to serve the Family of Man maintaining a world of peace, mutual responsibility, and the happiness of all.

52. Everybody must contribute to the state
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.01.13)
learning Tora is a WASTE of time , does NOT bring any agora in the State's budget , the contrary ! You said you don't want to make comments that would RIDICULISE you , but you do it all the time , in every comment .
53. 52 Charles,with your logic...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.01.13)
love and care to elderly is a waste of time, doesn t bring any agora in the State s budget.
54. 51 Charles,sprinkle on it joy...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.01.13)
for your gentle reaction. Regarding my comment about you learning Tora,i wrote that ,while your chapter of unconditionnal desideratas made me nearly jump out of my skin.. Now that i did calm down i think you should have it your way,and go on being good at what you are.
55. Ora . 53 . You don't see a difference ? SAD !!!
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.01.13)
There is a difference between useless tora "study" and love and care for the elderly , between USELESS tora "study" and voluntary work . How can you compare both ? is it because of the heath ? I'm good here too !
