2. USA time to act
(04.25.13)
Its time for the USA to act decisively against Syria for its violation of chemical weapons, and Israel to act appropriately to Iran, Lebanon, and Gazan , and other agitants like Hamas and Hezbollah or border terrorists in Sinai
3. pathetic

first hagel contradicts israel's chief of military intelligence, as well as the uk and france, and a day later he admits that in fact assad used chemical weapons.

6. US has also used chemical weapons
daz ,   uk   (04.25.13)
They used Agent Orange in Vietnam and depleted uranium in Iraq. They supported Saddam when he used chemical weapons against Iran and his own people, but then accused him falsely of WMD when they wanted rid of him
7. Because Obama gave Assad a green light for limited Sarin use
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (04.25.13)
As I reported on YNET last August 21, Obama's so-called "red line" warning against nerve gas use by Assad came with a qualifier that limited nerve gas use would draw no US response - in effect a "green light" by Obama for Syria to use it on a limited basis. As I mentioned in my Aug 21, 2012 post, which no news organizations also recognized, Obama said "If I see a whole buncha chemical weapons being used..." In American black English slang, "whole buncha" (i.e., whole bunch of) means "a lot, a large quantity, many, tremendous amount, etc.". In other words, Obama was saying that he would have no problem with Syria using a limited number of outlawed nerve gas weapons - something no nation has EVER done, as long as it wasn't "a whole buncha". What is the precise number of nerve gas bombs Assad can drop before it becomes "a whole buncha"? It is two, five, ten, 100, 1000? We have no idea, and our Boob in the White House very precisely is not saying, lest he be held to his word on nerve gas by the public - a pompous commitment it is clear that he had no intention of keeping anyway, just as there is no real red line that Iran has to worry about crossing. Obama is a 4-flusher and a liar who can not be trusted stick by his commitments - as both America's friends and enemies now well know.
8. So be it
Cameron ,   USA   (04.25.13)
The overriding priority of the US in regard to Syria is to stay the Hell out of it. No overt intervention. No boots on the ground. Let the Israelis & Europeans muster up for neutralizing that rat-hole.
9. my good wishes to

AS ALSO SYRIA HAS A MEMBERSHIP OF THE ENTIRE UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION, AS AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL- AND INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTION, THE UNO HAS TO MAKE UP A JUDGEMENT AND GIVE ADVISE HOW TO END AND TO SOLVE THAT DISASTEROUS, HUMAN ISSUE, FOR, BY AND WITH ALL OF US AND THE REST OF MANKIND, IN THAT CASE GRADUALLY.

An American Citizen ,   Washington, DC   (04.25.13)
The reason why no news organizations recognized your Aug 21, 2012 post is because it's not worth the bandwidth to address. "In American black English slang?" Who the hell are you, David Duke?

Ok, perhaps "buncha" is a Kenyan word. Whetever it is it isn't proper English.

Oh, Saddam had the weapons of mass destruction, alright. They were trucked over the border into Syria, and now Syria has them.

You mean US let one of his enemies+Iraq use chemical weapon on his other enemy = Iran? Wow! You really have a grasp of politics their my friend.
18. Observation
imafreeagent ,   Florida   (04.27.13)
Whether supported by facts or not, I get the sense that Israel actually wants Assad to be using chemical weapons on the Syrians. Likewise, I get the sense that Israel wants Iran to be building WMDs. Seems like whenever the US is struggling with her own crises (Boston bombings, etc.), Israel pulls something to ensure that Israel will dominate the headlines.
