1. Assad vs Islamist-Jihadist Terrorists
Brod ,   USA   (04.26.13)
Two devils are fighting each other. However, the Islamist-Jihadist Terrorists are the worst of the two devils. In a country infested by devils because of their Satanic religious teachings, a strong man leader is needed to control the impulses of the devils into lawlessness and chaos. Hopefully, if Assad survives this by defeating his enemies, he will change and stop supporting Islamist-Jihadist terrorists that had been attacking Israel. If his enemies prevail, Syria will descend into lawlessness and butchery. When lawlessness combines with WMD, the region will conflagrate into a Hiroshima. The West should stay away from supporting the devils in the region. Meanwhile, Israel should not wait for the WMD to spill to fanatical Islamist-Jihadist terrorists, Hezbollah or the Ayatollahists. These dark forces would have no hesitancy to shower Israel with WMD. Ergo, Israel needs to destroy this WMD once and for all irrespective of what the world may say. It is for the good of Israel and humanity in the region and the world.
2. IN IRAQ IT WAS WMD'S... IN SYRIA IT'S CHEMISTRY 101

will we constantly be forced to accept these blatant lies by these western governments as pretexts for their itch to regain their former colonies and imperial glories in this world?

2 years into a war that has left 60,00+ dead, civilians directly targetted, massacred, ethnically cleansed and a ruined country and you think that Western governments, who have done nothing about this are itching to go in and regain their former colonies? what is there to regain? what planet are you living on?
4. Obam & Cameron want to avoid Iraq 2
zionist forver   (04.26.13)
The last thing Obama & Cameron want is another war in the Middle East over WMDS especially if it means putting boots on the ground which this probably would. Diplomacy we know from Iran doesn't work so best solution is negotiate with the locals to form a coalition and do the job. Unless its the US Israel will not trust anybody else and Assad's missiles overlook Israel so something has to be done. Solution is for Obama try create an alliance between Israel, the arabs and possibly Turkey because Erdogan is itching for a fight. Let Israel and Turkish jets destroy Assad's air defenses and known chemical weapon storage sites. After that is done let the Arab League and maybe Turkey send in ground troops and prepare the way for an eventual UN peace keeping force to move in let the US do any snooping they want but under the protection of the UN banner. If we want to make peace with arabs then thats the way to do it not through negotiating treaties because military campaigns build trust and cooperation treaties are just politicians sitting down together and negotiating.

he lives in planet Ron Paul and the libertarians. or as many are calling them with their real name. libertardians. you know, planet conspiracy tard, where almost all problems would be solved if only the jews are all driven out from the middle east and europe and usa.
6. Obama promised this would be a game changer
(04.26.13)
Now we see him back-peddling - pretty much gives us a clear picture that he will back pedal on Iran also. Sobering reality hitting Bibi right now. But to be fair he already knew that Obama would not do what needs to be done.
7. Let "Jewish State" sink or swim under its own power
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.26.13)
...with no more western support, zero.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.26.13)
Excuse me, but isn't this thread about the use of chemical weapons in Syria? Are you so dense that you do not realize that neither Assad nor any of the rebel factions would be so stupid as to dare to use such weapons against Israel? Israel would retaliate immediately, and Syria will simply cease to exist. On the other hand, imagine what weaponized anthrax released in the Mall of America would do. How about some sarin gas in the London tube or the New York City subway? What about a teaspoonful of botulin toxin released into several of Minnesota's ten thousand lakes? The Syrians -- Assad's government and rebels alike -- are not afraid of the United States and they are certainly not afraid of the United Kingdom. They are VERY afraid of Israel -- as well they should be. Here's a news flash: if those weapons of mass destruction fall into the wrong hands, the United States, the United Kingdom and continental Europe have the most to fear. No one is targeting Israel. Haven't you noticed that while al Qaeda has targeted Europe and the United States ceaselessly, it has always opted to stay well clear of Israel? Are your little grey cells up to the task of pondering why that is the case?

10. #6 summed it up all too well
Israeli 2   (04.26.13)
Churchill, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Thatcher and Reagan are unfortunately no longer with us. As Sarah B. so aptly said: Haven't you noticed that while al Qaeda has targeted Europe and the United States ceaselessly, it has always opted to stay well clear of Israel?
11. It's their own war
Get Real ,   UK   (04.26.13)
Why is it expected that the US and the West, rather than Russia or the UN, should intervene if chemical weapons are used in the Syrian conflict ? No response was made to Halabja. The only certainty is that Israel will respond very strongly if either side are foolish enough to attack her with chemical weapons.
12. Minnesota Mongrel
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (04.26.13)
Hello Minnesota mongrel Benassi! How are you today? Still hating Jews and Israel? Shabbat Shalom, friend. Israel and the Hebrew People: The Chosen, shall endure as it is willed by Go-d, not by a pissant. Am Yisrael Chai!
13. Syria's Etymology
Raviv ,   Paris   (04.26.13)
I dont expect much from the UK as they irresponsibly mismanaged their various mandates in the MiddleEast along with the French. All these fictitious entities and fake identities such as "syrians" and "jordanians". They led to deep social and ethnic division and disharmony. Syria comes from the word Assyria but who even knows about the mistreated Assyrians ( and Kurds) these days? Redraw borders to reflect the actual ethnic makeup of the Middle East. We need Jewish Leadership to raise this awareness.

The truth hurts doesn't it? What makes you think anyone cares what a nobody thnks?

Cameron ,   USA   (04.26.13)
Fine chest-thumping as always, but remember to factor in the weekly rocket fire & mortar rounds, as well as the two ridiculous rocket wars with Gaza.
16. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.27.13)
Well, Cameron, you're contemplating the wrong scenario. Imagine an Israel that no longer cares about collateral damage, and pulling out all the stops. Who is going to stop us then? The United States? Snicker. Sure. Just the way the United States "stopped" the Somali warlords, right? Israel isn't Somalia, honey, and don't you ever forget it. You really have no idea, do you?

Fantasizing yet again about Israel running buck-wild? Snicker Israel has become the spooked & indecisive kid of the ME neighborhood.
