1. why women don't complain
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (05.03.13)
according to reports, 25% of women in the US Marines are harnessed in one way or another yet few complain. Why? For fear of losing their ability to be promoted or being perceived as not a 'group' player. Yet on the other hand, women have the upper hand if they decide to ruin a man's life falsely. They can made a false complaint and the man is ruined in his family's and friend's eyes. Harassment is a two sided weapon that ruins people's lives.
2. Several reasons why women don't complain
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.03.13)
First, whether she complains to the workplace, the police or civil court, the defendant's attorney will almost invariably attack her-- character, intention, morals, you name it, turning her into the defendant rather than the plaintiff. Second, no matter what the outcome, she's "burned" at that workplace. Any hopes of career advancement go out the window. Third, her colleagues will look at her as a whistle blower and a dangerous person to be associated with, for fear some attention will be "rubbed of" onto them, as well. Fourth, any woman in a long-term relationship has the same personal problems with her partner as she would have if she had been raped. Some men can be pretty Neanderthal about this. All things considered, I can see why women would be very reluctant to make accusations, even if the offender's behavior is serial and blatant.
3. B.S. isn't even adequate a word
nali ,   Israel   (05.03.13)
in the last 4 years I have personally been blackmailed by a male tenant at my workplace that threatened to have his female friend (former tenant of where i worked) file a complaint against me unless..., and in the other incident i have had a female tenant file a sexual harassment complaint with the police in retaliation of multiple noise complaints i have made against her to management. where's my protection? i'm sorry victims have to relive their traumatic experiences in court, but it is very important that this is done and that it is not made too easy to file a complaint especially in Israel, where you get a record after you have been accused, not after you are convicted, like in the U.S. you cant't offer protection in place of others' protection. its not fair. on the other hand, i do think that punishment should be severe, for both willful sexual harassment, and falsely making complaints/

Devorah   (05.03.13)
A well-aimed pop in the chops to a co-worker who didn't understand the meaning of the word "NO" after he touched my butt. There were witnesses. He was fired. End of story. Drum roll.
6. Leftist Media Coverup & Defence
TheGreatMediaCoverup ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.03.13)
It is really sick to see the Israeli left electronic media come to the defense of this extreme left media "star" Emanuel Rosen the most verihent of all the left media stars The excuses for defending him and not judgging him before trial would never be heard if the culprit was on the other side of the political spectrum what hypocrites wow have they come to the defense of "their own"
7. Sexual harassment

More and more people are turning to Facebook and complaining there. The news gets out and the molester is known. This is a quicker remedy than going to court. Another option is to go to the molester's wife and tell her. This has led to divorces and ruined his life. We should have practical, efficient and speedy ways of dealing with the problem. We should also know how to protect ourselves and frighten off these predators so they will be discouraged from starting up with their employees.
