1. China just lost her store house of Chinese weapons.
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.06.13)
Ah, what a shame. China should know better than to try and give any orders to Israel. Any one who sides with the pals is considered an enemy.
2. '...any country's sovereignty should be respected': what...
Flavio ,   São Paulo, Brazil   (05.06.13)
...about Tibet and Taiwan? What a chutzpah!
3. Total Israeli victory. Zero restraint.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.06.13)
Israel's only goal should be total resounding victory. Zero restraint. Israel's enemies must suffer absolute defeat and all that it entails. For the "Palestinian" poseurs, this means permanent relocation from our land.
4. China visit
Get Real ,   UK   (05.06.13)
Good for development of mutual trading and opportunity for Bibi to explain Israel's political position and recent actions. Wonder why Abbas there at the same time.
5. LOL
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.06.13)
"We oppose the use of military force and believe any country's sovereignty should be respected," Can't help but laugh [satiric laughter] at this statement. Wonder how India would react to such prevarication from the Chinese.
6. Yes, whatever. I want my cheap iPhones to arrive ASAP! That
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.06.13)
must be the objective of Bibi's visit. Economy is the king and weapons it's servants. I am positive, that we'll develop excellent ties with this emerging giant while slowly and politely disconnecting ourselves from the Empire of the Sunset: USA.
7. I expect PM Netanyahu, as someone...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (05.06.13)
...who freqently talks about 'learning from history', to be extremely critical of the Chinese leadership during his visit in Beijing. Laying a wrath of flowers at the Tiananmen Square in remeberance of all those killed during the 1989 massacre, condemning labor camps and human rights abuses and demanding democracy plus free elections, are minimum requirements from me. Does he really have a backbone? Come on, Bibi, surprise us....
8. Meddling in other countries sovereignty
Arnold ,   Montreal-Canada   (05.06.13)
I have always admired China. The people. The culture. And as a Jew we all seem to love Chinese food. I grew up with take out on Sundays. Comfort food. I understand China's "meddling in a country's sovereignty" comment but they must look at themselves as well. As above already mentioned is the Tibet and Taiwan issue even though China says those two countries belong to them.
9. Israel is 100% right in what it did!
Mark J. Koch ,   Cherry Hill, NJ USA   (05.06.13)
On the pages of Yehdiot and other online sites I have been supportive of a Two State solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict and highly critical of Israel's current right wing government. However, after reading hundreds of comments posted the past twenty four hours in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, LaTimes, and other American media sites I am astonished at the vitriol and anger against Israel for attacking a missile storage facility in Syria. Israel did not attack a hospital, a school, or a marketplace. It attacked a warehouse where long range missiles that could reach every Israeli city where stored and on their way eventually to Hezbollah, a terrorist organization that has launched thousands of missiles against Israeli cities designed to kill and maim as many innocent Israelis as possible. We should be applauding Israel for its resolve, not criticizing it. And we should be directing all of our vitriol towards a regime that has murdered 70,000 of its own citizens, tortured little children, made more than one million of its citizens refugees, and bombed its own cities so badly that they look like cities in Europe from World War II. It is insane and immoral to be directing any criticism at Israel whatsoever for its recent action. Israel deserves our praise, not our condemnation.
10. CHINESE FORTUNE COOKIE
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (05.06.13)
Israel fortune cookie reads: Country who strikes preemptively lives to see another day. Country who sits like sitting duck, is a schlemiel, schlemazel, and a schm*ck." Stay strong, Yisrael.
11. Lavi 2030s
Alon ,   TA   (05.06.13)
Netanyahu you should discuss how the chinese military ste the Lavi project design plans and built it into their J-10 fighter planes. We should build our own sixth generation Lavi fighters to be operational by2030. US libertarians and isolationist which in thenext 20 years will become more powerfull and influential wont giveIsrael money or weapons.
